For Breast Cancer Month:

This month we celebrate the 25 th year for National Breast Cancer Awareness,
While there is yet to be a cure for this useless disease that a lot of women & men suffer from daily,
Here are a few statistics that you might find a little shocking and eye opening:
  1. About 1 in 8 women in the United States (12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
  2. In 2010, an estimated 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 54,010 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.
  3. About 1,970 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in men in 2010. Less than 1% of all new breast cancer cases occur in men.
  4. For women in the U.S., breast cancer death rates are higher than those for any other cancer, besides lung cancer.
  5. In 2010, there were more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S.
While these are just a few statistics here is a link to find out more about this disease.
Please take the time to go and read about these and take the time to join against the fight against this horrible disease.
The main thing to remember is to do your BSE (Breast Self Exams) monthly and Mammograms as recommended by your physician.

While this is different than my usual blogs I thought this is a very important message and I hope It touches someone out there and please share with someone you know who has or may have survived or is going through this now.  Know there is someone out there who cares and will pray daily until there's a cure!!

Together we can make a difference!!!!!!

  O LORD my God,
 I cried unto thee,
 and thou hast healed me.
