I'm singing for you!

You might find me hiding somewhere in a tree.

And I know i'm not be pretty to see.

But you'll definitively will hear me singing at summer's end,

Letting you know that fall's just around the bend.

I flutter my wings with vigorous force,

Making music as sweet as any radio source.

It's not often someone get's a picture of me hanging out,

I really don't know what I was thinking about.

I must go on my way now to find a spot to burst into song,

Because fall will be here before to long.

 play skilfully with a loud noise.

Can you see me?

I fly around all day looking for a place to stay,

Today I've chosen to hide in behind these flower out of the way.

You might have to look close to see me behind the petals bloom,

There's so many of them I barely have room.

Take you time looking at me and I'll let you stay,

But don't get to close or I'll have to fly away.

What would a day be without the sun or moon?
It would be like a song without the sound or lovely tune,
What would the ocean be like without the waves?
It's be like a graveyard without any graves,
What would the night be like without any stars?
It's like a highway without any cars.
What would a house be without a foundation?
It would be like a lost soul without salvation.
What would a  church be without a steeple?
It'd be like having service without any people.
But why do without when God promises us everything?

Trust!

The winds will blow the storm will come,

There will be much damage once the rain is done.

They've been many natural disasters we've seen over the years,

And the devastation these have left behind have caused many tears.

While these are not the only disasters we'll ever see,

It doesn't make it any easier for those who have gone through them I agree,

But if you place your trust in the Lord he'll get you through the tough times,

And help you with the difficult hills you have to climb.

Psalm 41:1

  Blessed is he that considereth the poor:

 the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

Funny People!

I want you to know about all the new people I have meet,

Some of them are funny, kind, smart and sweet.

Everyday is a exciting adventure the more I get to know them,

You never know what's going to happen when we begin in the AM.

You wouldn't believe all the stories told about the paintings on the wall,
You hear tales of people in the house and mice running down the hall,

We also have some of the most talented group of people in the town,

We have among us artists, musicians, storytellers, and I'd bet a class clown.

If you're wondering where these people are I'm speaking of,

It's the place where I  work and what we do is a labor of love.

I know creative artist named Jane,

Who sets her easel and places a canvas that's plain, 

Pallet in hand she mixes the oils just right then begins to compose,

With a few strokes of the brush just like magic, the picture then shows,

She produces such rustic scenes that are beautifully unique,

Psalm 29:3

  The voice of the LORD is upon the waters:

 the God of glory thundereth:

 the LORD is upon many waters.

The Plan

Sometimes I feel like I'm all alone with no one to hear me scream,

Maybe it's because the screams I scream are always in a dream.

They are way to get away from the daily chaotic mess,

But I've got to figure them out to stop all the stress.

Stress I'm told is a choice we make,
But to change that and for it to work you have a lot of life choices to make.
Following God's daily plan is the way to go,
Because he has the answers for everything you know.

Psalm 4:5

  Offer the sacrifices of righteousness,
 and put your trust in the LORD.

I may be tiny...

I may be a creature that's tiny and small,

 But I fly around till I feel 10 feet tall,

I get to enjoy the delicacy of each flower's bloom,

The only way they captured me was with a camera's zoom.

I may look different to you with my big black eyes,

But how is that much different than an common ole house fly's?

I'm truly glad you get this chance to see me on this fine day,

Cause soon I'll have to fly out and be on my way. 

Psalm 94:19

 In the multitude of my thoughts within 

me thy comforts delight my soul.

WORDS!

Did you know the words you use could cause pain,

They could cut so deep, It'd makes them who hears them insane,
 Just like the thorns of a rose,
It can stick them and cause pain that grows.
Words are can torture without a strike,

You never lay a hand yet it hurt the same, you'll never know what that's like?

Emotions can run deep for years on end,

What? do you think they have to pretend?

You may not know that what you've  said caused such affliction,

But you will one day you will that is my prediction.
For God watches out for all his creatures big and small,
He will protect them against it all.

Job 8:2

  How long wilt thou speak these things? 
and how long shall the words of 
thy mouth be like a strong wind?

O sing...

What does it take to make a beautiful song,

A piano that plays the notes ever so strong?

A guitar to strum the notes just in tune,

Or is it the right melody to make you swoon?

The bible tells us many times to make a joyful noise,

Does it matter if you're the only one who enjoys?

Music can be a healing machine,

Let us rejoice and enjoy and make a part of our every day routine.

Psalm 98:1

  O sing unto the LORD a new song;

 for he hath done marvellous things: 

his right hand, and his holy arm,

 hath gotten him the victory.

Dare to dream

When you wake to face the day you find each one extraordinary and new,

You never know who or what you're gonna run in to.

You may awake to something fresh and bold,

Yet it may be the same as the day before taking hold.
Why not today make it different than any before,
Today why don't you get your feet up off the floor,

Today what if you could just spend the day floating on the clouds?

Puffy and soft taking you around by passing the crowds.
Wouldn't that be a magical trip to any place anywhere,
That could be a trip beyond compare.
Although we can dare to dream,
We must always come back to reality it seems.

Life can send you many places and show you many things,

 But we must stay grounded in the Lord for he is King.

Psalm 78:14 

 In the daytime also he led them with a cloud,

 and all the night with a light of fire.

Just for show

For all the people out there who've ever been told,
You don't look sick, there's nothing wrong or you're not old,
The pain you feel is more than real,
When you've tried every remedy, and taken every pill.
You pray for something to make it easier for the day go to by,

Sometimes its so hard all and all you want to do is cry.

The pain comes and goes so much it's discomforting,

If only there was a way to stop it or something.

You never know when or where it will strike,

And no one really know what you really feel like.

But you continue on with your day as planned,

Because to beat this you have to take a stand.
People will never understand they'll never know,
So everyday is new one and only you  know the smile you put on is just for show.

Psalm 30:2

  O LORD my God, 
I cried unto thee, 
and thou hast healed me.

I'm tired, fragile, drooping and frail,

I'm fading so that my yellow is pale,

I'm speaking of this wilting flower,

If only it could be fixed with some magical power.

 But i'm just loosing my strength to stand strong,

Soon i'll be totally withered and saying so long.

So enjoy these last few summer days,

Then i'll be totally gone by the hot sun rays.

But don't worry i'll be back again next summer's day,

More bold and beautiful if I have my way.

  

Spirits

Do you hear a noises late a night?

Do they alarm you or give you a fright?

Have you ever woken with a headache or migraine?

Do your dreams tell you stories that you just can't explain?

They'll always be things we can't define,

Maybe it's spirits out there trying to shine.

For it's by faith we believe in God's glory divine,

So could it be that we're getting some kind of sign?

Psalm 104:30 

  Thou sendest forth thy spirit, 

they are created:

 and thou re-newest the face of the earth.

A rock

The rock is a mighty boulder,

Whose beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder,

Each one is unique in it's own design,

 Some of them even shine.

Big or small they can do it all,

Some can even be used them to build a wall.

Sometimes over these rocks you see flowing lovely streams,

And that is something some people only see in their dreams.

If you ever tired or down and find the need to lean on a rock,

Then heaven's door is where you need to knock.

For there you'll find the most glorious rock of the land,

And that's where one day soon we'll stand!!

Psalm 78:16

 He brought streams also out of the rock,

 and caused waters to run down like rivers.

A Cloud

What do you see when you look to the sky,

Is it the clouds making their way passing by?

You may even see things in the fluffy puffs,

If you stare at them long enough.

They float out there casually in the air,

Lots of people drive by them unaware.

So what do you do when you look to the sky,

Please don't just pass it by....

One of my favorite things to do when looking upward,

Is to give thanks for everything to the Lord.

Psalm 57:10

  For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, 

and thy truth unto the clouds.

The Mystery...

When walking a path in mid June,

You might run across this hidden bloom,

It's beauty is something to behold,

And its mystery is a story to unfold,

While you'll only find these hidden from the sun,

There's something special about each one.

These are unique to the wilderness,

And we should just enjoy the mystery each one possess.

Its known as a Pink Lady Slipper wildflower,

It's your choice to believe in it's mystical power.

Ephesians 3:3-4

  How that by revelation he made 

known unto me the mystery;

 (as I wrote afore in few words,  Whereby, 

when ye read, ye may understand 

my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

The Walk...

I take a daily walk even though sometimes it's in my mind,

I go lots of places I see lots of things and it's all just to unwind,

I think today i'll walk across this covered bridge,

I'll be able to hear the water moving below and the rocky ridge,

I'll wonder down the creek bank and see if the fish are jumping,

Then go up the little hill just to get the heart pumping.

Then i'll come back to the bridge where I began,

And tomorrow I'll start all over again.

Proverbs 3:23

 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, 

and thy foot shall not stumble.

The flower shall bloom each summers day,

There in the garden just point the way.

They have pedal's perfect as they can be,

Ready to be viewed by you and me.

Each flower has its own features,

As do all God's miraculous creatures.

Enjoy the flower every time you get a chance,

Even if it's only for a little glance.

 Ephesians 2:10

 For we are his workmanship,

 created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

 which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Friends...

I once watched at the moon settled in the trees,

To add to the allure was the valley's gentle breeze,

Inch by inch it slowly descended,

Till nothing but blue sky transcended.

 I remember this day as clear as the sky here is blue,

Because of the friends that were there to observe too.

A friend is someone you treasure and hold dear,

And nothing's kept us  from that this the past year.

So I'd like to God for that beautiful day,

It like other things they'll never take away.

John 15:13

  Greater love hath no man than this, 

that a man lay down his life for his friends.

A tear....

There are many different types of tears,

Some are sad, lonely, hurt and even some from scares.

Sometimes the tears flow like raindrops on a stem,

The more you try to comfort, the more there are of them.

You may not always know what it is that makes someone cry,

They may have just told a loved one good-bye.

They may have just heard a funny joke,

Or just heard a babies first words spoke.

It may be a lonely day they've seen,

Or just a emotional young teen.

God gives us many crosses for us to bear,

And some of those may cause a tear to flare,

But you should to find the reason why,

Before you offer to wipe that tear dry.

Psalm 6:6

  I am weary with my groaning; 

all the night make I my bed to swim;

 I water my couch with my tears

What then?

When do you think the news will shift,

From doom and gloom to something with more of an uplift?

When is the media going to stop the blame game,

And make personal accountability the true rise to fame?

We as a nation need to start asking the right questions,

Instead of accepting to all these senseless suggestions.

What can we do to make America a better place?

Make sure God fearing people are in the race.

Listen closely to the speeches as they are given!

And you'll be able to see it in the lives they're living.

I can assure you that if a man listens to his pastor preach for years,

He's going to be listening carefully with both ears!

Look at your own life and how you were raised,

Then tell me things shouldn't be reappraised!

Romans 11:7

 What then?
Israel hath not obtained
that which he seeketh for;
 but the election hath obtained it,
 and the rest were blinded.

A friends Birthday...

You've added another year to you're age,

But it's merely just another history page,

If you think back to when your birthday's began,

First you were all about playing with toy's, now you're thinking of a retirement plan.

If it's the years that really starts the eyes to tear,

I'm sure a tissue will wipe them clear.

If you're worried you'll be another year older,

You've made many friends that can lend a shoulder.

 No matter what lessons you've learned along the way,

I really hope you have a Happy Birthday!!!!
