Healing Grace

It may be a cloudy day

But you can still find you way

Open up your heart for your blessing

Knowing it will give you such rejoicing

The storms may have you hindered and weak

But don't let them keep you down look up and seek

For you have an never ending flow of healing grace

If you only look in the right place

Have a beautiful glorious day

And remember God is with you to stay

Isaiah 53:5

 But he was wounded for our transgressions, 

he was bruised for our iniquities:

 the chastisement of our peace was upon him; 

and with his stripes we are healed.

Great lights

The trees are strung with light aglow

They give the accents that extra sparkle below

If only the meaning was as bright

It all began on one star filled night

Remember the reason for the season

And know it's not about the presents you've been given

Never allow anyone to lead you astray

The night was lit to lead the way

Say your blessings and pray for awareness

For one day soon we'll all receive your bless

Psalm 136:7

To him that made great lights:

 for his mercy endureth for ever:

The strings

The strings are rusty, the keys are worn and broken

Oh the beautiful hymns that you heard is just a small token

Of the years of faith and joy this old piano played

The pews are now empty the walls are now bare

The floors and doors are full of wear

Even though the house is empty of those that came

The blessings left behind are rewarding just the same

There may never be any music played in the glory house again

But you can rejoice in the victory of those that were here just the same

This is one place you'll find even though empty and alone

You can find the all mighty spirits coming from glories home

1 Chronicles 16:8

 Give thanks unto the Lord, 

call upon his name, make known 

his deeds among the people.

Patience

Do you ever wonder about the path you're taking

Do you wonder if the one choose is leading you to a recokoning

The wooded path is often a place of peace

But the doubt and fear must come to a cease

Although you can't see what's around the next bend

You must trust that this is where God's plan is and his plans are without end

Never fear the unknown for this is often where you find your way

But you have to go forward and not look back, you will never go astray

Know your faith will guide you the distance

And with this you will gain wisdom if you have the patience

James 1:2-5

² My brethren, count it all joy 

when ye fall into divers temptations;

³ Knowing this, that the trying 

of your faith worketh patience.

⁴ But let patience have her perfect work, 

that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

⁵ If any of you lack wisdom, 

let him ask of God, that giveth to all

men liberally, and upbraideth not;

 and it shall be given him.

Is it day or night

At a glace you may look and at things and they  may seem dark 

But when you take a closer look you may see the sun is actually coming

Don't always go by first sight on many things as you are on your journey

Take the time to see what it is that is coming up before you

It may actually be the brightness needed for a gloom and despair

Don't be afraid to sit and wait on the sunshine for it will come

Never let fear take over you and steal what you have in store for your life

Press on and find that sun that is coming up in the distant

Believe that this is the day that you will feel no fear

Know you have the power to overcome anything you feel is in your hands

Open up your heart, have the courage to confront that which is stopping you

Grow to the point where you embrace the new day with joy

Never look and see the night and darkness, where it's clearly a bright day

1 John 4:17-19

¹⁷ Herein is our love made perfect, 

that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: 

because as he is, so are we in this world.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love; 

but perfect love casteth out fear:

 because fear hath torment.

 He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

¹⁹ We love him, because he first loved us.

Thank you

Thank you for the tears that fall

They make me know I still care

Thank you for the pain that takes over my body

It lets me know I'm still alive

Thank you for the empty heart 

It lets me know others can fill it

Thank you for the cold days

I makes me find the warmth within

Thank you for everything I don't have

It makes me know I didn't need it

Thank you for what you do for me everyday

It makes me thankful for everything

1 Corinthians 1:4-5

⁴ I thank my God always on your behalf,

for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

⁵ That in every thing ye are enriched by him, 

in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

Peace

I often sit and wonder if peace will ever reveal itself

I sit in the early morning hours to try to acquire it for myself

But what is peace, what will it bring you if not a calming feeling

How do you show you haven't the peace without revealing

Today we must find this calming effect any way we can

Begin today, change the way, make a plan

Plan  not allow anything to bring you down

Never let anyone see you with a frown

No matter your inner torment, and trials 

Great everyone and only show smiles

Today begin with nothing but positive praise

Give your heart a peaceful place to graze

Psalm 4:8

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:

 for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Home

There will be a time when you will never be cold

There will be a time when you will never be hungry

You will always have a place to sleep

You will always feel peace and joy

Keep on believing and you will soon see

Keep on believing and you will get the call

Home is where you will find your treasures

Home is where we will never grow old

Joel 2:26

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied,

 and praise the name of the Lord your God, 

that hath dealt wondrously with you: 

and my people shall never be ashamed.

Snowy daze

The winter's day has covered the track with a white blanket

You cannot hear a noise as things are as quiet as a bandit

This may be the only time you can step out into the day and enjoy the silent beauty

Unlike the rains that may fall snow has a peaceful duty

You can take this time to absorb the calming quiescent

Taking this into your heart filling it till it's an overjoyed effervescent

Don't speak, just listen and you will see

The glory coming from the silence will be breath taking  then you must agree

A snow filled day is another way to find your inner peace

Psalm 119:143

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: 

yet thy commandments are my delights.

Let you heart not be troubled

We will one day be called to God's home

We don't know if it will be by death or by resurrection

But he assures us that he has gone to prepare that place for us

And when we have our loved ones get called on we must know it is his will

We must in our trying times be happy and rejoice even though it is hard

Know those that have gone on before them are there waiting

Know you too will see them again for it too is promised

While this may be sad times here on earth

Let you heart not be troubled 

Know there is singing and shouting in the promise land

For they have a new angel home to watch over  

John 14:1-3

1Let not your heart be troubled:

 ye believe in God, believe also in me.

² In my Father's house are many mansions: 

if it were not so, I would have told you.

 I go to prepare a place for you.

³ And if I go and prepare a place for you,

 I will come again, and receive you unto myself;

 that where I am, there ye may be also.

Complain not

The path ahead may look wet, dark and dim

The path ahead may seem lonely, abandoned and forsaken

But the path may be leading you to a brighter place

But the path may be sending you to a much needed treasure

Don't complain about the path you are currently on

Don't complain about the path just keep pressing through

Give thanks for the journey and where it is taking you

Give thanks for it will lead you to your rewards

Know we must travel down these paths to find joy

Know these paths are there for us to find our way

Numbers 11:1

And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord:

 and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; 

and the fire of the Lord burnt among them,

 and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

Thanks

Wake up in the dawn giving thanks for the day

Give thanks through out your daily journey and where you stay

Know to complain will only cause more problems than good

Rejoice for the things you have and do what you should

Thank you should be as easy a eating and often as breathing

Times may be hard and you may feel burdened but there's no need for murmuring

Be not miserable in your earthly home

For soon you will have a better place to roam

Thank your neighbors for their kindness and you will be blessed

Work the thanks into your daily routine and you'll never be stressed

Philippians 2:14

 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

The night

The sky is dark and full of secrets

The night send a chill that rips into your soul

It is the night that you let things go to begin the new day

The night is where you find the answers to the hard questions

It is in the night that many fear and others love

The night will offer you things not found the bright sky

It is the night where you can relax and find peace

The night is a great place just to be free

It is the night that you might find just what you are looking for

Psalm 19:2

 Day unto day uttereth speech, 

and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 

There are clear days

On a clear day you can see far away above the mountains

On a clear day you will know where things are and should be

On a clear day you will be above all the sorrow and strife

What revenge is so necessary to destroy the earth

What revenge is desired in such a way to destroy our souls

What revenge is demanded in order to win a victory

Do not fall prey to the devil and his ramblings

Do not fall prey to the evil of those who seek power

Do no fall prey to anyone who defies God's word

There are clear days ahead for us to see

There are clear days coming for you to enjoy

There are clear days out there just wait out those storms

2 Corinthians 7:10-12

¹⁰ For godly sorrow worketh repentance to

 salvation not to be repented of: 

but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

¹¹ For behold this selfsame thing, 

that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, 

what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, 

what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation,

 yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea,

 what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things 

ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

¹² Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, 

I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong,

 nor for his cause that suffered wrong, 

but that our care for you in the sight of

 God might appear unto you.

We will win in the end

I go and prepare a place for you this has been promised

We are to follow here on earth as we prepare for that place

We will endure the tough times, and come out stronger on the other side

We will not allow the false prophets and evil rule our lives

We will make it through the wilderness as all others have done before us

If it is not good then it is not the end, we must continue the fight

Continue with strength and courage that has been given us

Stay prepared, never compromise your faith

Press on to your destiny, We will Win in the in End!

1 Corinthians 14:7-9

⁷ And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

⁸ For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
⁹ So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

Not knowing

Problems seem to find you where ever you go

You want to find that peace within but it comes about slow

Finding that place where you are truly fit

Often gives you unneeded struggles as luck would have it

But we must press on to find the happiness 

We get on with the task at hand and do our business

Enjoy the journey as it may be a pressing and long

No one has ever promised things will be as joyful as a song

I wonder where my time has gone and my life is going

I will just be happy here in the not knowing

Proverbs 1:2

 To know wisdom and instruction;

 to perceive the words of understanding;

Peace

A walk to the mountain top should give you joy and peace

Take the time to look beyond the tree into the faraway lands

Not knowing what is out there, but just enjoying the glorious beauty

Find the peace that is within yourself, allow it to consume you 

Let that feeling grow in you till it overflows 

You will never find you way in life until you find that inner peace 

It is there, it has always been there dig down and find it 

Use it to make yourself grow to the person you want to be

Then let that person be a blessing to others 

Ephesians 2:14

For he is our peace, who hath made both one,

 and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Don't feel alone

Don't feel alone on the road

Don't worry about tomorrows journey

Don't hesitate to do what you know is right

You will find your way down these lonely paths

If you are feeling alone and lost never fear 

There will be someone there to guide you through

The worries you have, let them go to be no more

You will always find the strength you need in every path of life

Know you have a friend to hold you and guide you through the tough times

  Make today the day you are in and leave tomorrow for tomorrow

Don't waste today worrying about what tomorrow may bring

Use your faith and you will never fail to feel the guidance you need.

Matthew 6:34

 

So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, 

for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. 

Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.
