Ever awaken scared?

I woke up alone scared and shaking, or should I say terrified,
I looked around, took survey of surroundings and verified.

Yes I was home in my bed heart beating rather fast for this time of morning,
Disoriented to say the least had to think for a while to get my senses about me was I dreaming?

After a few moments of nothing but silence and worry I began to realize I had just woken from what most would call a nightmare,
Hard as I tried I couldn't remember what it was I was dreaming about which is rare.

My only next step was to say a prayer, I began to pray, meditate to calm down the heart rate,
Because I was still in such a scary, fragile state.

I took almost a hour to get my mind back in a semi normal and straight.
Also during this alone time with God and prayer I prayed for peace on earth as well as my heart,
For this has been the source of the night terror all along was the unsettling, tempestuous state of the world had become among other thing had certainly done it's part.

The only thing we can do is keep praying for peace around the world in hopes everyone will get God's wonderful information,
So we can once again sleep in peace and once again soon become compassionate nation.

Daniel 2:3

And the king said unto them,
 I have dreamed a dream,
and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.

The rocks have been stacked so long the moss have seem overgrown,
Yet the path roughly leads down by the river among the brushes undertone.
I also see lots of tree roots that have taken over the forest's trail,
Over the course of time several things can cause the roughness to prevail.
While most people would see overgrown ragged usefulness,
I see a place to go to find quietness, fullness and peacefulness.
While each of us have different views of the same thing,
Choose your way of viewing things and the goodness that they bring.
For you will get a lot out of looking at things from different views,
And just think of all the things you could be missing if you didn't choose.
Enjoy all your days with peace and joy and always look at things through many glasses,
And the world you see with these might have a totally different view than yesterday's passes.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer;
 I have overcome the world.

Is it a dream? or Brain fog?

You sit alone in the room lights all out room all quiet nothing but the pain to remind you I'm still here,
No one to listen no one who cares all you hear is the roar of a car that passes by ever so near.
Do you feel all alone, detached from everyone and everything out there in the real world,
While most of this is feels just a dream or something that I've found in my mind has twirled.
You want things to get better and want to feel no pain,  but all find to cling to is my faith and belief,
There's no one out there to trust, no one to confide in not even the commander and chief.
While suddenly your awoken by a loud noise and this was all a dream except for the pain,
You hear outside the storms brewing and bringing in a strong rain.
We never know what kind of dreams we have when we sleep,
We may have bad ones, good ones or even find new people to meet.
Most of the time you awake in such a fog you forget where you are or where you've been,
So much so your head is in just one big spin.
Sometimes the dreams are so great and beautiful you find yourself not wanting to awaken,
But to stay in the deep sleep and stay away and be taken.
No matter what your dreams may bring use them as a stepping stone into your life,
To help you get through all the problems and troubles and strife.

Job 7:14

14Then thou scarest me with dreams,
 and terrifiest me through visions:

Starting your new year

Now it's time to put the tinsel away, put the tree in the box until next year,
We must remember that with the new year coming we need to let the past lie in the past.
Let this next year be a new beginning to something bigger and better for you,
This can be done by always following the few guidelines:
1. Don't put off things never procrastinate.
2. Don't get caught up with victim thinking. Always practice personal Accountability
3. Don't play the blame game. You don't have to blame others the truth will come out no matter what.
Remember if you plan to have any New years resolutions start by setting a goal of being Outstanding.
With God's help we can accomplish anything and know you have a plan out there for you.
Though you may not know what it is live like you do.
And if you do that and follow the word of God you've already won half the battle.
Have a great day and New Year and God Bless each of you.

John 14:1-3

1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.

3And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.

The lovely candle

The glow of a candle is alluring anytime of year but not as much as during the Christmas season,
It makes you want to just sit and watch for hours without knowing the reason.
Maybe it's just it's mystical glow, or it's glittering glare,
That causes you to just sit and stare.
No matter the reason or the time or the season, we must all agree,
When you light them up you get something glorious especially in three.

Psalm 18:28

For thou wilt light my candle:
the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

Merry Christmas

Let us all be thankful this Christmas for the things we have,  Lets be blessed by the fact we have each other and that's much more than most people have this year.  Forget about all the stuff the media and market tries to sell you this time of year because there's no amount of money that can buy what the real meaning of the Holiday brings.  It's knowing you have family and friends that care for you, it has nothing to do with the I Pads, Android phones, nor the newest video games.  These are just things and things can be replaced people cannot.  We need to remember that the best part of Christmas is having your family and friends with you and nothing else.  Enjoy their company and be thankful for another year you've gotten to spend with the ones you love.  Take time to remember the ones who've passed on this year for they are still near to your heart.  God bless the little children for they are the ones who enjoy the day the most, and Let all have a very Merry Christmas.

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:11-14 KJV

Gifts

We've always heard every time we hear a bell ring  another angel gets their wings,
I bet the heavens also rings out with wonderful music and everyone sings.
Because we know that even with God's plan we all have to go on to Heaven and receive the joyous gifts,
But until then we'll enjoy the ones under the tree once a year to celebrate the birth of Jesus for his treats.
Always keep loved ones here, far away and those who've gone on to get their final glorious treasures,
Because to give is better than to receive and that is the truest treasure.
Live, Love and Enjoy your Christmas with Love,
Give, Receive it and donate it to the rest and your gift will be something you've never unheard of.

Numbers 18:29

Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD,
of all the best thereof,
even the hallowed part thereof out of it.

Merry Christmas

How great is it that Jesus is the reason for this season and without this great birthday there would be no Christmas.  Let us not forget this as we go about our way and always Say Merry Christmas and Never "X Christ out of your Christmas.  God Bless Each and every one of you May your Christmas be blessed and you New year bring you Joy and Happiness!!

Luke 2:6-7

6And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

The dirt road

Down the old dirt road you may find nothing sweeter than the field of dandelions,
But you may also find the peace of mind the quietness brings on a spring day just to get out as the dust flies.
The clouds in the sky seem to set off the view as the quietly move by over the mountain ridge,
Who know maybe down this dirt road you'll find rickety old bridge.
There are many fields of flowers that bloom during the spring along with trees that freeze during winter's storms,
Down the dirt road you find a peace that's so close to heaven it make your heart warm.
Next time you find yourself needing time to go away just for the day,
Try taking a drive down one of natures few dirt roads  they will never lead you astray.
You will find peace, joy and happiness just by taking a drive,
It's a place to leave behind all that bitter and strive.
Remember the simple things in life sometimes are the best.
And trust God for the rest.

Psalm 37:11

 But the meek shall inherit the earth;
and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Try giving...

We need to do things for others without them knowing it,
Without expecting something in return and just because we want to.
There's not more joyous than to do something for someone just because it's in your heart to do so,
It's these types of things you should never ask for anything in return, nor praise for.
Because the one you are truly doing these things for are not the person that's receiving the gift,
It's in fact you, and you will one day be rewarded ten fold for what you've done.
I heard once about the a gift called the "change jar" all year long children would take a jar put their change in the jar then on Christmas eve they would take the jars and leave them on the door steps of their neighbors who needed them.
How great a Christmas day would that be to some family to wake up and find this money filled jar just lying on their door step?
You don't have to brag or tell anyone what you've done because in due season God will allow it to be known.
So during this season do something good for someone, and do it quietly,
And don't let anyone know you've done it and I'll promise  you the reward will be great.
The person will be rewarded and so will you by God's favor which will far out weigh any instant gratification you could ever receive.
This is something you should try and you will too believe.

Proverbs 15:27

 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house;
but he that hateth gifts shall live.

Check the inside....

I may look run down tattered and torn,
But you really don't know what's inside so please don't mourn.
I may not look like I'm not able to be much of anything for anyone,
But on the inside I may be bright, shinny and new to someone.
Just because the outside I may not be the best view to see,
Doesn't mean there's still not a lot left on the inside for me to be.
Please don't give up on things just because they don't look so good on the surface,
With a little love, care and prayer who knows I could be priceless.
Remember just because someone may not look the best on the outside,
That doesn't mean they're not something great on the inside.
And no matter what people may think the inside is all that really matters anyway,
No matter what happens or what you do remember that in every way.
Never take something at face value for you'll never get to see the true joy,
For what you may need to know or see is on the inside for you to enjoy.

1 Kings 6:15

And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar,
both the floor of the house, and the walls of the ceiling:
and he covered them on the inside with wood,
and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.

Snowy days

On a snowy winter's day you may see a snow man outside a home decorated for the season,
But let us not forget that decorations, gifts are not the season's reason.
While we enjoy the decorations, lights and glamour,
We also need to remember the ones without, alone and have no laughter.
This time of year is not about how many or how big the gifts are you buy,
But it's about the family you have and the love you share and never ask why.
We should always keep our loved ones close and care for the less fortunate,
And do what it takes to make them feel the best about themselves.
Remember Jesus is the reason for the Season,
And always keep Christ in Christmas.
And your year will always be a joyous one!

 Ecclesiastes 3:1

To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Broken keys...

There are times when you're sad,There are times when you're mad.
There are times when you find yourself wondering if the pain is really bad.
Will it ever go away?
There are times when you just go through the motions just to make it though,
Just like the broken keys of a piano that doesn't play all the way.
Sometimes you hit the keys but there is no sound,
Then again there that on special time you hit just the right one and the most beautiful note rings out loud.
No one really knows just by looking at the out side of the piano that it's broken and battered on the inside,
This may be like you or someone you know... you only see what's on the outside.
So be careful of which keys you might press because you might always not get the glorious sounds,
Because you just might find that you've hit that one broken key that doesn't ring out.
But don't worry, never fear, there are 87 others keys that may play just as sweet,
So just keep pressing, keep looking because one day it will play good as new again.

Psalm 38:8

8I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

Proverbs 17:22

22A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Choose your path

There are many paths one can choose throughout our day and lives.  We must choose them wisely and make sure they don't lead them to a place of destruction.
While there many places we would like to go our hearts tell us we shouldn't and we should know from past experiences that most of the time our hearts know right from wrong and we've always been told to trust our heart.  Remember to choose the path that make you happy, and the one that leads you to what's best for you.  While it may not be what others expect you have to know whats right for you
and stick with it and know that God has a plan for you
and He makes no mistakes.

Psalm 119:105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalm 119:35

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

Proverbs 4:11

I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.

Psalm 16:11

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Joy

Have you ever at times felt like no matter what you do everything is against you,
Do you ever feel like everything you touch or do goes wrong.
This is the time more than any other time that you need step up and say NO!
Nothing is going to steal my JOY! It's funny how the devil doesn't want the things that you have.
He only wants you not to enjoy them,
So don't let him have the satisfaction of letting him stealing one thing from you,
Stand up for yourself each morning when you wake up,
Tell yourself today is going to be Great,
Write yourself notes to remind you that you are special,
God made you the way you are and He makes no mistakes.
So enjoy your life know God's chosen his plan and enjoy everyday of it because it's worth every moment.

  Ecclesiastes 5:20

For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.

And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

Enjoy

The leaves are golden the ground is covered,
as the fall season is slowly leaving us to winter's snow blanket,
We get to leave the warm fall evenings behind to winter's bitter cold days,
as the wind whisks past and makes our skin bitter.
While fall is beautiful at its best there's another season around the corner waiting to slip up on you,
Spend the days you have enjoying your days no matter the time or place,
For days we have may be short and sweet so we need to rejoice in each one in peace.
Know some one, some where is always there to help you if you need it,
Times are only as hard as you make them,
And like the new seasons change so do our lives.
Live, Love and Laugh for they are free.

Psalm 21:1

 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD;
and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Christmas Wishes

The ornament are hung on the tree just special,
Each limb is covered with lights, ball or maybe a bird.
No matter what your hearts desire, decorate each tree as you see fit,
When its all finished and topped all off and let be lit.
While you may have your own traditions each year for your tree,
Remember all those who out there who will not have anything and who they'll be.
Have them in your hearts do what you can to make their day unforgettable,
Maybe it's just a phone call, small gift or a few extra vegetables.
Let enjoy the year as it's intended to be,
A time of rejoicing and this every loving plea.
Remember those no longer with us, thank those who are, and help those less fortunate,

3 John 1:2

2Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

A nap from time to time

We can all take a page from the duck's hand book and take a break and relax from time to time,
Sit on the bank, take a rest and enjoy the sun shine.
Often you can find them noses tucked inside their feathers taking a little nap,
While some may think this is silly and sap,
We can all agree there are times when we can all use such a time to just get away and peace,
Try taking some of your alone time taking a small nap in the some some day like the little geese.
You might find they've found something special we've not yet discovered in our world,
That'll keep us from being so twisted and twirled.

Job 3:13

For now should I have lain still and been quiet,
I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

Begin your day with God

There's no better way to begin your day.

Before the morning dew seems to be in the fields to stay.

Wake up early spend the first time of the day with God and his word,
I believe this is the best time for him to be heard.
It seems to be the best most time you have alone,
Spend it in your own "God Zone"
It's not hard, it's not difficult just a few minutes is all it takes,
And what great changes in your life it makes.
Try it for one month and you'll too soon see,
Things in your life to handle easier they will be.

John 1:1-2

1In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.
