Keep Christ in Chrstmas

It's time for the tree trimmings, and holiday decorating's,
Standing in lines and family forgiving's.
But we always need to remember what this day is for,
And we need to keep the Christ and Christmas for ever more.
Always remember when you place and X in front to shorten the writings,
Or if you use the terms Happy Holidays instead of using Christ's name in your sightings.
You're actually leaving out the reason,
For the Season.
It's not about buying the most expensive gift for the already spoiled children who have everything,
Or spending all your money on thing you didn't need for anything.
It's a time to come together as a family, enjoy each other, help those who are in need,
Which we should do all year not just at Christmas in deed.
So for this Christmas Season keep Christ in your celebration and start a new tradition,
Use Merry Christmas often, spread the word and do it with ambition.

Luke 2:13-14

13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The sound of a Hymn

The sounds of water rushing over the rocks sets off a roar,
To stand at the bottom and look up to the top makes you want to see more.
The smell of the misty aquatic falls gives off such and aroma,
Just to sit and enjoy almost gives you the effects of a mental coma.
The only other joy like this is when you hear the songs and hymns of Gods word,
And the sound of the voices as they carry through the church as they are singing like a bird.
Songs sung by those who truly are inspired by the spirit of God,
And the sound leaves those listening truly awed.

Colossians 3:16

  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

A quite creek nestled in the woods.

Where do you find a peaceful place to think?
A quite creek nestled in the woods.
Where do you find a place to get away from all the noise of the city?
A quite creek nestled in the woods.
Where do you find moss covered stones placed just perfectly as in a painting?
A quite creek nestled in the woods.
Where do you hear the creek rolling over each rock as if to play a blissful song?
A quite creek nestled in the woods.
Where do you find a downed tree stretched across the water causing the water to change flow?
A quite creek nestled in the woods.
Many times when you want to get away and find a harmonious place to get away try it by...
A quite creek nestled in the woods.

Mark 4:39

And he arose, and rebuked the wind,
and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.
And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

A word for the unwise

Why would anyone want to take something written from the heart and destroy is with rude comments?
Why would someone want to take a place that's been dedicated to inspirations and leave  crudeness?
I ask these things because yesterdays blog was left with vulgar, rude comments beyond comprehension.
I hope that someone out there enjoys the words and photos I leave for you each day,
And those who find themselves with the need to leave such inconsiderate words one day learns from them and finds that the words of God can be much more rewarding than unrefined, vulgar, insulting words left behind by someone who clearly has no respect for others or the word of God.

I pray that one day you will find what it takes to give you the ability to give other the respect they deserve.

Ezekiel 33:30

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

Lets not forget

The turkey's gone your sitting home all alone avoiding "black" Friday,
While you're sitting there dreaming of the future coming soon one day,
Dream up some snow falls and Christmas cheer,
For it's about to become near.
With all the thanksgiving and family cheer and over stuffing from yesterday,
Lets remember just around the corner comes the winter's snowy day,
Giving us a blanket of white for us to enjoy as the snow falls along the way.
Winter's brisk winds will soon settle in giving us the feel that Christmas is near,
But what ever we do for these next few weeks lets not forget what makes us hold this day so dear.
It's not the fight over some sale at the stores today,
Or buying the best gift for your child to have to play.
It's the birth of Jesus Christ and without this day,
You'll never have the rewards that are soon to come our way!

Colossians 2:6-7

6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk ye in him:

7Rooted and built up in him,
and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving

Make sure you give Thanks today for everything you have no matter how small or how little you may think it may be.

Make sure to pay it forward any and every time you can and your reward will be great.

There's nothing more rewarding than to give someone something especially if they don't know you've done it.  eep in mind God will reward you for all your givings.
Be thankful that int today's times we have better ways of living and cooking and having thanksgiving dinners,
Give blessings for your family during this time.

Psalm 50:14

 Offer unto God thanksgiving;
and pay thy vows unto the most High:

Things we learn

One can learn many things by attending schools,
It gives you all kinds of teachings and tools.

Years ago the schools and church was in the same buildings,
But in today's world you can't even mention God's word anywhere near a schools or in it's teachings.

We need to take a long look back at how things were done years ago,
Compared to today's so call "politically correct" society there's a few things you must know.

Back then there was respect, discipline, and love in the family home,
Today all we have is back talk, rebellion and resentment in the place where everyone lives.

Back then children went to school to learn important things to help them with their careers,
Now days they go to talk on cell phones, socialize with friends and run from fears.

Back then the Pledge of Allegiance was quoted every morning,
Now you can't even state "one nation under GOD" without warning.

If you can't see whats wrong with all these things then you've got the same problem as all the other american's today,
We need to get God back into our schools and homes where He needs to stay.

1 Timothy 4:11

 These things command and teach.

Dreams

I see a mountain in my dreams that looks like a river of color from top to the base,
I also see skies of blue with whisks of white clouds, Oh what a alluring place.
I also dream of oceans blue, clear and free,
With waves that crash the beach with the same force as a crashing tree.
Many people have dreams that take them away to help with stress, or pain,
How about a dream where you can hear the sounds of the distant rain?
No matter what you do to relieve your pains, strives or stresses,
Make sure they are something that truly gives you blesses.

Psalm 5:12

 For thou, LORD,
wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

The Morning Glory....

The morning glory is an unusual flower in that it only blooms out early in the morning and dies in the afternoon.

Morning glory flowers signify love, affection or mortality. In Chinese folklore, they represent a single day for lovers to meet.

The tubular star-shaped morning glory flower primarily symbolizes affection, as the flowers blossom in the morning and die by afternoon or nightfall, making it representative of the sometimes fleeting nature of affection. But the vine produces new flowers every day
during its growth season,
representing the renewable
 nature of love.

No matter what you may
think of the Morning Glory or
 what mysteries it may
bring, we must all agree its
a beautiful flower that
has an unusual way of
renewing itself daily to give us a new flower to enjoy and love.

Isaiah 58:8

8Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.

23 Psalms

Psalm 23

 1The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.

2He maketh me to lie down
 in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of
 righteousness for his name's sake.

4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
 I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of

 the LORD for ever.

Choosing the correct paths

Everyday we make choices, we choose what to wear,
We choose when we eat, and we even choose to whom our secrets we share.

We spend our whole day even our lives making choices about all kinds of things,
They seem to control our lives in so many ways and can even pull on our heart strings.

We need to know and understand how the choices we make may effect others,
We need to appreciate the ability to make good choices one after another.

Did you know you can even choose your attitude?  We can choose to be happy or sad,
This may sound impossible but it's something we can do to keep us stress free and non mad.

We need to learn to live our lives by these choices and make them wisely,
What choices do you make throughout your day that you could change that would make a difference in someone else's lives?

Here might be just a few:
  • Did you choose to drive around the shopping center instead several times just to get a front parking spot instead of taking the open one?  How much gas and time do you thing this take in a year, or how  many people that couldn't walk as far as you need that spot?
  • Did you choose to buy that extra pair of shoes you just had to have instead of giving more to the collection request that was being passed around?
  • Did you put the buggy cart after buying groceries back in the buggy rack or did you just leave it beside your car?  What about the bag boy that that had to run to the end of the parking lot just to get it and it cost him his break or what if the wind blew it into another car?
  • Did you choose to super size your meal at the drive thru instead of getting the regular meal after repeatedly being told by your physician to cut back?
I hope this just make you think just a little bit next time you make your daily choices. Try to remember to ask yourself if the choice it's really worth it in the long run. Choose the path more traveled or less traveled that's up to you!

Matthew 7:13-14

13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

What do you give thanks for?

How often do you find yourself in a position where you're down and out?
How often do you want to give up, quit and just say I'm tired of this drought?

During these times more than any other you need to spend your time with God giving him thanks,
This may sound like this may be the worst time to give thanks but its the best time to come out of the brinks.

Keep up the positive thoughts don't get down, turn up the thanks and praises,
And soon you'll see what God has prepared for you in great raises.

When we pray we need to thank him for what he's already given us,
We need to believe in his almighty plan and know in due season it'll come to pass and just trust.

If we'll do our part and do the praying and thanking for what we do have,
He'll come through with his promises and give us what He has planned in our lives.

But we must also remember what he does have planned may not always be what we want, but I guarantee
He'll give you what you need, but continue to give thanks, praise him for what he's done for you no matter what He does or doesn't give you and in due season you'll get your reward.

We also need to remember to thank God for the unanswered prayers, again this may sound odd to you,
But how many times have you gotten to a point in your life and thought Oh my if God had answered that prayer I prayer "when" I wouldn't be here doing what I do?

I know you've heard these things from me before but when God lays these things on me to tell you again,
I'll continue with his word until you get it, and understand and do what it takes to begin.

For He's the one and the only way for you to get through any turmoil or problems you may faced with,
And believe me no matter what people say or what you may have heard God isn't a myth.

Know also sometimes all you have to do is look  up to the sky and God will show you his love.
If in nothing else in a heart shaped cloud floating above.

Revelation 22:12

  And, behold, I come quickly;
and my reward is with me,
to give every man according as his work shall be.

What you may see in a cloud

There are times the clouds open up to show us an angel in the sky, if nothing else to show us someone is there to watch over us to help us with the troubles we have during our hard times.
There are times they just jumble up and float along  above the trees with nothing else to do but float on by.  They are so puffy and light they can change what that are with the change of the wind as it blows.
There are times when in the morning when they come in above the orange morning sun, showing off their beauty in any way they can.  You never know what the morning might bring and a bright blue day is a beautiful way to start your day.
There are times at night when they float by the light of the full moon.  Giving off
what some may think of as a
scary night.  But no matter
what you may think it's still
a beautiful sight.

Then they're are days when the beauty of the clouds layer the mountain tops, as in a painting of an artist.  Showing off the way they float above the far away skyline, giving you the illusion of not knowing where the mountain ends and the sky begins.
Then you may see them floating
by on a stormy day.  Forming
together getting ready for the rain to fall.  Darkening up just before the lightening begins and the storm begins.

Then you'll see the small fluffy clouds that seem to appear on a clear day they just seem to float by without anyone taking notice.
But these can be some of the most gorgeous sites you can see. So take some time look up to the sky and see what might be   floating up there you may be
surprised at what you may see.

 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens;
and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

A rivers flow...

The flow of a river is like the gift of God's love,
It's always flowing, never ending, and always ago.
At anytime you can walk down to the river and there you will find a it flowing freely.  Turning and twisting around the curves of each stone and limb in its way.  God to can flow past anything past that in his way, flowing past the problems of everyday life.
Always giving you a outlet if you need it.  Just trust in the word, believe in the way, and you will always be with the tools you need to get you through any thing even the rough waters that come your way.
Some times the water that flows give off such a glorious glow that only an artist and give you.  The smoothness of the waters drifting stream, gives you a beauty that is unseen.  The sound of the water that flows down is like music that only a musician can play to perfection in tune every time, never missing a beat.  If you ever need a peaceful place to get away and treat yourself to some alone time or your "time" with God try spending it at a rivers edge.  You'll get something more than you'll ever expect out of your visit.
We need to take time for ourselves every now and then.  We need to stop, consider ourselves as the only person there is and put ourselves and the number one priority.  Because if you're the type of person who's always putting other's needs before yours you need to take the time for you.  Because you need to take care of yourself above all else first.  Because if your not well, then how can you be there to take care of the ones who need you the most?  So the best thing you can do for those who need you is put yourself first for once in your life. Because without you, who else is there?

We all need a little rest....

There are days when you might find yourself tired along the path of life,
But not always does life give you a place to rest with all its stress and strife.

Wouldn't It be nice if along life's path way we could find these nature made rest areas,
When we find our selves an hysterical mess or in messy hysteria's?

We need to stop, rest, listen to the winds blow up with the mountain breeze,
Anything it takes to make the stress, pain, or frustration ease.

I know many days I find myself where I need these little benches just to stop and take a break,
If nothing else just to pray and let God know I'm here, you need it  for your sake.

It's not very often we find such a place nature has carved out of stone and roots for us to have breathing space,
So find that place in your life no matter if its a dark corner, a side walk at work, or even a rock that's outta place.

No matter where it is take that time for yourself, because as one person once said stop giving someone else the job of making you happy,
That should be your number one job, you should make you number one take a moment in the day for you and make it snappy.

Also remember "If you don't have love for yourself, it's impossible to give love to others. You can't give away what you don't have"

Matthew 11:28

 Come unto me,
all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
