Everyday we make choices, we choose what to wear,
We choose when we eat, and we even choose to whom our secrets we share.
We spend our whole day even our lives making choices about all kinds of things,
They seem to control our lives in so many ways and can even pull on our heart strings.
We need to know and understand how the choices we make may effect others,
We need to appreciate the ability to make good choices one after another.
Did you know you can even choose your attitude? We can choose to be happy or sad,
This may sound impossible but it's something we can do to keep us stress free and non mad.
We need to learn to live our lives by these choices and make them wisely,
What choices do you make throughout your day that you could change that would make a difference in someone else's lives?
Here might be just a few:
- Did you choose to drive around the shopping center instead several times just to get a front parking spot instead of taking the open one? How much gas and time do you thing this take in a year, or how many people that couldn't walk as far as you need that spot?
- Did you choose to buy that extra pair of shoes you just had to have instead of giving more to the collection request that was being passed around?
- Did you put the buggy cart after buying groceries back in the buggy rack or did you just leave it beside your car? What about the bag boy that that had to run to the end of the parking lot just to get it and it cost him his break or what if the wind blew it into another car?
- Did you choose to super size your meal at the drive thru instead of getting the regular meal after repeatedly being told by your physician to cut back?
I hope this just make you think just a little bit next time you make your daily choices. Try to remember to ask yourself if the choice it's really worth it in the long run. Choose the path more traveled or less traveled that's up to you!
Matthew 7:13-14
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
