Only in the night

The light is your enemy, but the day is where your friends live

How do you cope with the fact that you must always stay dark to survive

Open to the fact that life changes just as the seasons roll

But the suffering and challenges are beginning to take it's toll

Oh your not sick you hear often as every day

I wish this pain and agony would just stay away

To make plans for the weekend end with just one twitch

With this comes often questions of how can she be such a bitch

No one knows nor do I wish they would

I just want to live life normal again like everyone should

Psalm 82:5

They know not, neither will they understand; 

they walk on in darkness: all the foundations 

of the earth are out of course.

Fight the fight

The night is dark and filled with pain

Tossing and turning waiting for the morning seems vain

Then comes the day and you struggle to fight

Then often all you want is darkness from the night

This viscous cycle continues day by day

Wishing the agony of it all would just go away

The ringing is loud as bells on a Sunday morning

The pounding in the head seems to come with no warning

Many people think of you as healthy and well

But how do you explain how can they tell

Hoping for one day at a time but often only getting one hour instead

Living for the moment and often spending the day in bed

People living with Chronic Daily Migraines is not a myth or fable

It's real and factual, but I will not become a label

I will fight till the fight is gone

If you can't believe or support then move on

Psalm 35:1

Plead my cause, O Lord, 

with them that strive with me:

 fight against them that fight against me.

In every thing give thanks

Prayers are something we use often or for some only in times of need

You should learn that praying is to the body the same as the air we breath

This should be done everyday, you may choose to set aside specific time during the day

Or you can just pray all day in everything you do and attempt to do as to not go astray

We should give thanks always at the time you receive the blessing, not waiting till prayer time

Thanks should be given often and without remorse, for this will help you on your journeys climb

We need to get our minds and hearts in the right place in order to be happy in your day

Giving thanks for even the small things in our day, for the small things are gifts that come your way

Then celebrate the goodness and give thanks for all you've accomplished and receive

For it's your prayers and thanks that brings you the gifts because you continue to believe

 1 Thessalonians 5:18

 In every thing give thanks:

 for this is the will of God in 

Christ Jesus concerning you.

Peace and Serenity

At times you may feel broken tattered or torn

Even beaten down, frazzled or worn

Even though you may feel there are days when the path is blocked

Just remember there is always a door that stays unlocked

Just keep pressing forward and you'll find a clearing just around the bend

Never fear or feel alone when you're at this time because you have a friend

Turn to your faith, trusting it will take you past the current mess

It will lift off the burdens and clear the roadway and take care of the stress

We were not meant to live our lives with continuous strife

We were meant to enjoy everything and get the greatness out of life

Know you are special as a child of God and he will lead you to the clearing

Offering you the peace and serenity your heart is desiring  

Ephesians 2:14

 For he is our peace, 

who hath made both one, 

and hath broken down the middle 

wall of partition between us;

With Patience

Just as the water in  river makes it to it's destination down stream

You too shall accomplish everything you want even those in your nightly dream

Never give up on what you know is your path in life, what has been shown to you to be true

Be patient, make allowances for the obstructions along the way and you will make it thru

Keep your mind in focus, knowing there are days you'll have to accept as trials

Face them head on, then to overcome what is in you way and met it with smiles

The path you've chosen will open up and find its way free

Each stone will be moved out of your way just so you can be who you need to be

Live life strong and with the confidence and strength of Gods power on your side

And with this patience everything you've been working for will never be denied.

² Living as becomes you] with complete lowliness of mind (humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentleness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because you love one another.

Scars

There comes a time to let go of the past and move on

God placed your eyes in front of you for a reason so be strong

Never look back on the decisions you've made or second guess 

Because you know there is a true reason you left that angry mess

You know things were broken, tattered and torn

Move on to a better place where things are bright, shinny and not worn

Use the gift of faith that you have been given, for it will take you far

And never remember those awful, hurtful times for they're now just a scar

People often are cruel and evil as they conform to the worlds way

But know your loyalty is not with those people, and tomorrow will be a better day

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly 

unto the throne of grace, 

that we may obtain mercy, 

and find grace to help in time of need.

Your path

When you've been lead to do something by faith, trust in that course

Never allow anything to destroy your destiny, or give you doubts or remorse 

You need to believe this is the path you were led to be on and never leave

Stay steadfast on the path till the end and continue to believe

You have the shield of armor to fight off all the disbelief

Don't allow anyone to steal your joy from you as if they are a devilish thief

Meet each morning with you're seeds of acceptance and trust

And you will make it to the reward that is promised to you, this is a must

Enjoy the road even though you may be toilsome

But it will be well worth the wait and the glorious outcome

Ephesians 6:16

 Above all, 

taking the shield of faith,

 wherewith ye shall be able to quench

 all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Strength

At times I feel weak and alone

Daily pain overtakes my body but it's something that isn't shown

And because it's something you can't see or identify

Often you are met with the skeptic who only wants you to clarify

But the words are never proof enough for the doubter

This just send you in to a place where the internal shouts get louder

For every time you meet with someone who cuts with another dismiss

It pile on more pain and agony to the ever growing stress

But you must continue on through the discomfort and pain

Gather strength from within to help with the added strain

Knowing that ignorance is also a handicap to those who choose not to know

 I pray you'll never suffer this torment from others, as you cope with life
Because most of those who don't understand just pass on their anger and strife
Use that which is hurtful to you to strengthen you and make you powerful
Just because you have an invisible affliction you are still beautiful

Philippians 4:13

 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

The Power

You get up and you ache so bad all you want to do is lie down

You lie down the pain is so awful all you do is toss around

Then you end up getting back out of bed then the viscous cycle starts all over

The misery runs right over you like a mighty bulldozer

Tearing up a wounded path as it goes, never knowing where the ground will land

Some days you feel as if you've had enough and it's all you can withstand

How do you  sit when the ache goes through you like a stabbing knife

How do you sleep when you toss and turn and dreams are of a better life

Prayers are all that are left to make it through each hour

No medicines will ever cure this hidden disease only God has that power 

Matthew 9:6

 But that ye may know that the Son of

 man hath power on earth to forgive sins,

 (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,)

 Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

Twisted and torn

Open up your eyes and you will see

Most people are not who they seem to be

They put on a smile in the morning just to push through the day

But behind the smile is pain and agony there in the way

Struggles just to make it out of bed sometimes is a chore

Not knowing when the last day was when you wasn't just sore

Seeing others happy and able to cope

Make them feel like they have little to no hope

I pray you never know the horrors this affliction brings

Suffering in silence is what they often do it's just one of those things

For you just wouldn't believe how twisted and torn they are inside

Just because you can't see what's wrong doesn't mean there isn't something there, now you decide

Job 33:19

He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, 

and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

Together

As the seasons begin to change and the leaves start to show their color

Each one changing to it's own shades of yellow, orange or red none like another

Just as the seasons change, so must our lives change and grow

We must embrace what changes are there and for what treasures it has to bestow

Just as a new day gives you a bright new clean slate

We must use that new day to make the change for the good to lift you to a better state

Enjoy everyday because it's your day, own it and never allow the changes stop you from growing

Just as the trees are growing as they shed their leaves in the fall for our glorious showing

Keep fighting everyday for what you believe and everything else will fall into place

For all things will work together for the greater good and when you believe that you've won the race

Romans 8:28

 And we know that all things work together

 for good to them that love God,

to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Blessings from the day

Take time to enjoy the day that you are given from the days dawn till the sunsets

Take in all the joyful colors nature gives you to adore, and do it without regrets

Many days are spent without even once taking notice to the delights in the sky

Many nights come and go without even once taking notice to the beauty that passes by

Give thanks for the ability to enjoy each day that is given to you for it is a blessing

Use each evening to give thanks for another day given to you and stop stressing

Each day is given to us new each morning and is bright and new

Use it to begin with greatness and start each one with a glorious view

When the day is done finish each with the thankfulness of a day well done

Then from this day on you will arise with the dawn of each new and get blessings from each one

Psalm 129:8

 Neither do they which go by say,

 The blessing of the Lord be upon you:

 we bless you in the name of the Lord.

Cloudy days

Everyone has clouds of doom that often find their way into their day

But if you keep a positive outlook they'll have no reason to stay

With times rough and days often hard at best

We need to do what ever it takes to keep our mind at rest

Life often sends us in to places often to test our faith and loyalties

But it's the path through these tests that gets to our destiny and royalties

Press on through the cloudy days for there will be brighter ones tomorrow

And never live in a place where you feel anger or sorrow.

Job 35:5

 Look unto the heavens, and see;

 and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.

Standing strong

Have you ever felt like the broken and dead tree among the thriving forest

Ever wonder why all things around you seem to grow when you are less nourished

When you get to the place where you are not feeling you are thriving

You may need to move on to better land where you can get reviving

Know you are not meant to be anywhere you feel alone 

Have the faith it takes and the trust to take the move to better ground

Then growing in this place will be abundant and sound

Never again should you feel like your dead and alone

And you will always have what it takes on your side to stand strong.

1 John 2:27

 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, 

and ye need not that any man teach you:

but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, 

and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, 

ye shall abide in him.

Follow the path

Though the path may look rough and rocky and frail

Continue on with you walk in faith for your ground will not fail 

Press on to your destinations great passing over the rough patches 

Take time to enjoy the walk through these struggles and scratches

For you may find some of the most interesting things through the tough time

But if you press on, continue through you are promised a joyous outcome when you finish the climb

Follow the path that is laid out, although you are not always promise a smooth one

It's the outcome you are walking toward and will enjoy when the day is done.

Psalm 17:5

 Hold up my goings in thy paths,

 that my footsteps slip not.

For my friend

Your life is like the beauty of a delicate flowers bloom

You are the middle and each pedal are your friends as gathered around in a room

Each one unique in its own way using the other together to make a glorious flower

It's the true friends that stick together that make you grow and give you all the power

Just as it takes pedals together to make a blossom

The right kinds of friends together can make your life and days just as awesome

Lots of people use others to get what they want but it just kills the batch

And sometimes all you are left with are stems and thatch

While you are at times left with the dead flowers that aren't very alluring

It's truly the ones that stick by you are the one who are the most inspiring

And its those friends that I cherish and hold dearly as anyone would a flowers bouquet

It is a true friend who will be there and never lead you astray

Proverbs 8:17

 I love them that love me;

 and those that seek me early shall find me.

Moon walk

Although at night the sky grows dark you can be guided by the moonlight

Just as the day has the sunshine the night sometimes gives us a something bright and white

While many may spend the morning hours for the daily prayer and Godly time

Why not spend a night or two when the moon is full , it might send you on a different climb

Many times we need to make changes in our daily routines and practices throughout or life

Especially if you find that what you are met daily with is bitter and strife

Get a new perspective on things by making the change to which God is leading you to do

Even if at times it may seem impossible or hard to get through

Keep the faith, press on and trust that you are going where you are lead to go by the word

And then the clouds will part and the moon will shine and clearness will be where it was once blurred

So take your moon walk with Christ and spend a night praising him

And he will bring you away from any evil and grimm

Psalm 148:3

 Praise ye him, 

sun and moon:

 praise him,

 all ye stars of light.

Away

I will not cry I will not weep 

What I need is some much needed sleep

I'm am tired but am not weak

I will remain strong and let my words speak

Many will talk as they are unaware

For they are the ones who spent their time smashing and didn't care

I'll not miss some and cherish those who have become friendly and dear

For they will go with me and always be near

Many I thank for the kindness and patience

As for the drama filled others you'll never know the difference

Hold fast the form of sound words, 

which thou hast heard of me,

 in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

 That good thing which was committed unto

 thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

The sunset

The day was long but now is gone

As the sun starts to set beyond the mountains it's barley hanging on

Just and we must let the day end and allow a new one begin

We must let go of some of the things of the day let them become a has been

Don't dwell on what the sun has already set upon

For it has already said it's peace and the day is gone

Get up with the days dawn and begin with the mornings dew

For it's that that gives us the moisture to wipe away the past and begin anew

Each morning is blessed with this glorious natures gift

So use it to erase away the mess and give you a lift

Let what the sun sets on be gone and in the past

For this is the secret to everlasting joy at last

Isaiah 55:8-9
