The Power

You get up and you ache so bad all you want to do is lie down

You lie down the pain is so awful all you do is toss around

Then you end up getting back out of bed then the viscous cycle starts all over

The misery runs right over you like a mighty bulldozer

Tearing up a wounded path as it goes, never knowing where the ground will land

Some days you feel as if you've had enough and it's all you can withstand

How do you  sit when the ache goes through you like a stabbing knife

How do you sleep when you toss and turn and dreams are of a better life

Prayers are all that are left to make it through each hour

No medicines will ever cure this hidden disease only God has that power 

Matthew 9:6

 But that ye may know that the Son of

 man hath power on earth to forgive sins,

 (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,)

 Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
