Give thanks for the little things.

To give thanks for what you have is something you should do every hour,

No matter how small you might think those things are give thanks with power.

Don't let another second go by without thanking God for the small things,

For with every thanks you give it's what joy to his eyes that brings.

It may be as small as a thank you for the dawn of the new day,

Or as big as the thanks for keeping a bad things at bay.

For every thanks we give shows the gratitude he gives us often,

So we should thank God with passion. 

We take for granted how short life can be,

Or how quickly things can change, so much even the blind can see.

But be sure to lay those burdens on the Lord for he will give you rest,

And that in itself is worth all the thanks you can give cause you are the best.

Matthew 11:28

  Come unto me, 

all ye that labour and are heavy laden, 

and I will give you rest.
