Enjoying Life

The Bull Elk turns to run toward his herd to defend over them and keep them away from other males,
During this time of season they keep their brood together succeeding is the only way to prevail.
They sing out through the fields with a bugling call alerting the others that they are near,
And if one of the other bulls even try to approach and come around they'll stop them this will be clear.
This is beautiful time of season not only for the enormous size of the racks on their heads,
But you also get to enjoy the beauty of the leaves as they begin to change color and shed.
If you ever want to see some of these beautiful creatures up close and not far drive from home,
Take a trip to Cataloochee Valley in Western North Carolina where you'll find these animals free to roam.
You'll find it a great trip and you'll not find a place on earth where you'll feel more closer to God's country,
If you ever find your way to Western North Carolina I hope to see you here up on the dusty trail.
