Endure

Many times we spend our days in a daze

Not knowing how to cope with all the foggy haze

The singing we hear is not sweet music in our ear

But instead it's a sound so painful it nearly brings a tear

The aches of the other ailments come on without warning

There are no words to explain the sharp piercing

At times it becomes more that a body should endure

Not knowing the reason or the why for sure

Will this train ever find its stopping place

When its pounding I want to be alone in my own space

Living with chronic pain is something no one should know

But be patient as we cope and we'll try to hide it and never let it show

Psalm 118:29

O give thanks unto the Lord; 

for he is good: for his mercy

 endureth for ever.
