Alone

Sitting can feel like knives stabbing into your side

But standing or laying down doesn't always help I've tried

Imagine the worst pain you've ever had and add to that by two

Many days are impossible to make it thru

You will never see the tears or see the pain

Because hidden is where is stays but not without strain

Nothing you do will ever make it ease or go away

If only I knew what to do I don't want it to stay

While others enjoy the chill of the fall

I feel it in every joint, bone and muscle as if hitting a wall

You get to admire the beauty of the season

I just get to worry and wonder what is the reason

You'll never know nor understand

It's something I'll deal with on my own without a hand
