Set them...

 There are times in our lives when we need to put up fences or borders,

During is one time in our life we really need to listen to God's orders.

While all fences have gates and you can let people in,

We need to set boundaries in order for them not to put us in a tail spin.

There are people who for some reason may have made it their life's mission to drag us down,

We need to make it clear from the beginning what your borders are and stick to them without a frown.

While a times you'll find this difficult and destructive, you need to know these are not the types of friends God intended for us to keep,

While you can be friendly to everyone there are times when a friend they cannot be according to His word,

God has a set of rules and he wants us to consult him for everything prior to allowing many choices,

So we need to trust our gut feelings and those little voices.

Because they are God's way of telling you someone or something is about to cross your boundary,

And start believing and trusting his word completely and profoundly.

Isaiah 60:18

 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, 

wasting nor destruction within thy borders;

 but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, 

and thy gates Praise.
