BE MORE!

How many times have you felt that you've failed at something?
You should know that no child of God has ever failed at anything, He never makes mistakes, so what you do and try are not mistakes, He will only gives us things that makes us stronger.

Many people throughout time failed at things they've tried before they become famous, some of them were, Albert Einstein,  Issac Newton, Michael Jordan, and even Elvis Pressley was told he'd never be anything and he should just quit and go home and go back to driving a truck.

We cannot give up on what we want out of life no matter how big  or crazy the idea may be.  We need to continue forward with our plan because we are strong, we have a will for success.

We cannot allow others mistakes or putting their blames off on you get us down. Let it roll off your backs like water on a ducks back. We must keep ourselves up where we know we can be.

If there is something we know we want to succeed at then we need to set that goal and achieve that goal.  You can do it.  Do allow anyone tell you can't.  The word NO cannot be a part of your vocabulary during this time.

We need to be above  and beyond any expectations, achieve more, do more than is expected as a child of God.   That's whats wrong with things today people don't take pride in their work, they don't go above and beyond they do just enough to get by or try their hardest to do the least for the most.

Make everyday a Ephesians 3:20 day and do exceeding abundantly above all that is asked of us.  Make every day better than the last.  Be a great worker bee, because there is only one queen in the hive, and any more than that  makes the hive hostile and break apart.

Do more,  to achieve more and you will be more.

Ephesians 3:20

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us,

Our Roots

We need to go back to our ROOTS begin doing a honest days work for that honest day's pay.  Stop expecting handouts on every turn.  Do your share and more.  Then you will so find all the cards falling into the correct places and when others begin to do the same you will so find things getting easier.

Have  you ever watched a group of people rowing a boat?  What if two or three of them decided to stop rowing and just sat there and let the others do all the work? How long would it take for those that continued to row to become tired, worn out and beaten down?

This is the same way it is in life.  Do you do you fair share? Do you help others carry their load?
Here's just a couple that helped others carry their loads.... What about the guy that helped Jesus carry his cross?  What about the footprints in the sand when Jesus is carrying us?

Why is it that people only come together during tragic situations?  Do you think that's the only time you should help your fellow man?  We should be helper's to ever one, every time, every day.    Many times people only show up to see some one after they've gone on to be with the Lord.  Well I'm here to tell you that's a little too late.  Now's the time to spend with those who need you not just during tragic times.

Help the lady at the grocery store who's having trouble in the rain get her umbrella open.  Help the person in front of you at the check out line who doesn't have those extra few pennies and they are digging in the bottom of their purse for them.  Help that elderly man with his shopping buggy because someone took his handicap space that really didn't need it.

How hard is it to do what it right because we know in our hearts it's the right things to do?  If you pay it forward you will get your reward back ten fold, guaranteed.  Even if it's just to make you feel better about yourself.  But let me be clear about one thing, bragging about the event will not help win the reward.  You should do these things without anyone knowing.  God is the only one who will be watching and He will do the rewarding.

Do good works for others that they may see and give thanks to your Father which is in heaven.  For this is the right thing for us to do in his name.

Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

What kind of woman are you?

I would rather be a Proverbs 31 kind of woman than a Victoria Secret Model any day......

I saw this on a sign the other day and didn't really understand it until I got this down and read it now I really believe I've always been this kind of woman and I thank God for that.

And I believe that's why we must believe it what we do or leave it.

If God has been dealing with you do work through something leaving you gut turning hints daily that you might not be in the place you should be then maybe it's come a time in your life to do something about it.

Because there is not way you can change others, the only one you can change is you so if leaving it is the only way to make the change that needs to be done then that what you need to do according to God's plan.

We need not be afraid of hard times, God will provide during those times if he's led to to do something and anointed you to make that choice, even if you in your mind think it's going to put a burden on you.

You need to keep the faith, press on, know God will be there in you're time of need especially when you're heart is heavy.
Know God says let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.

Trust that He will take you by the hand and lead you to the place you should be and you will know you are in that place by the peace of mind like you've never felt before once you get there.

But know that God will lead the path you need, he will make it easier as you go along and keep the faith.  Although it may not be today, give Him time do your work with faith and works and you will never fail. And the trail he leads you to will be Great.

After reading this I realize that as a woman we are made strong, able to handle many things.  Able to do many things. We can over come many things. We need to press forward with the things we know God wants us to do and be ALWAYS.

Proverbs 31

1The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
2What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
3Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
4It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
5Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
6Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
7Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
8Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
9Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Are you behind the wall?

Do find yourself behind a wall hidden from others or are you open and free for other to see the real you?
Are you buried behind a mound of rocks never to dig you way out feeling you are locked in for life?

Many of us out there at one time or another have felt this way.  We cannot compare ourselves to others or the ways of others.  We must be ourselves an who we are and who God has intended us to be in Christ.

He can only give us the confidence to get out from behind these walls, stop making everything a competition with others.  You have only one person you have to prove things to and that's yourself.  You have only one person to answer to and that's God.

So begin a new day doing things for the right reasons, not to prove you're better that the person next to you because God will allow you to shine on you're own without you saying a word.  Anyone who walks and works  in the good faith and follow the word of God will never have to brag about their works it will always show.

You should do good deeds in silence, never bragging about those deeds and you will receive your reward in due season.  God will reward those who do his work, life will reward you for the greatness you create, just as it will destroy you for the destruction you make.

So please get yourself from behind the wall begin to do good things  for the right reasons.  Work for the greater good and not for what you can gain here on earth for those this will never matter for anything ever.

Only rewards you will ever need are the ones you'll receive when you reach the Gates of Glory and how are you going to explain your actions when asked about your life here, was it spent behind the wall or out doing good things?

Psalm 118:8

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

I AM

I AM
Have you ever used these words.... yes we all have but have you ever thought how we use them?
When we say I am not good at something, or I am sick, or I am weak, you are essentially saying that about God.

God says in the Bible many times that he is the I AM, in fact he is the Great I Am.
We also know that God created us in his own likeness. So therefore when we innocently say these things about ourselves, we are really saying these things about our creator.

We need to build ourselves up as high as the mountains, instead of down in the valley.
Such as I am great, I am well, I am going to do great things, I Am there for I will be, no one will get me down because I Am who I am.
It is as simple as changing a few simple words and you can change the whole way you begin to feel about yourself.  Build yourself up, use the Great I AM as a building tool to make things better than where you once were. And don't allow others to let you use your I Am to get you down. By tell you things you're not. Let them know you're a Child of God.

And I am going to be happy today, I am not going to let other get me down, I am going to be a great person, see how easy it is to say the positives using the I AM.  Just as easy if not easier as using it to put yourself down using those same two words.

Always use them to put you in the higher places God has intended for you to be as his child and not down where he never wants you to be.
While you should always choose your words carefully as a wise person always tells us.  This time I believe  this one just might be the wisest of them all.

Exodus 3:14

And God said unto Moses,
I AM THAT I AM: and he said,
Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
I AM hath sent me unto you.

Honesty

Honesty:  WOW a big word but rarely seen this day and time.
In the dictionary you might find next to this word some of the following: not disposed to cheat or defraud; not deceptive or fraudulent or maybe the inability to speak the truth.

I believe there's a lot of people who haven't been honest in so long they've forgotten how maybe they've gotten away with the deception so long that they actually think everyone believes all the lies they actually create in their lives.

While I know there are a few out there that may think this is the only way to get attention or noticed but you're only getting you're notifications for the wrong reasons.
If we pretend to be someone we're not we are not only being dishonest with ourselves, we are being dishonest with God who created us to be something maybe greater than what you are pretending to be.

Many times you find those who don't take pride it what they do, are you the same person come Monday morning as you were on Sunday while you were in church?
Or are you one of those who when you get back to your non spiritual life you use others as a stepping stone no matter the cost.  If so you need to know the Holy house is not a social hall and shouldn't be used that way. You're there to learn something give it a try next time you decide to go.

Gods word teaches us to be the same each and every day not just on special days such as Sunday's or Easter or when you think someone is watching you.  Ever notice how people change when you think people are watching them or how they buy special outfits just because it's Easter, God doesn't care what you wear as long as you are there.

If you really want to know how someone feels about you try calling them on the phone when they don't know you're doing it and watch their reaction when they see it's you calling.  Eyes rolling, making faces, sighing all kinds of things may happen so be prepared, you may have even done this yourself a time or two so think about how that'd make you feel next time.  You may even be surprised at who you thought were you're friends.   How honest is that.

God loves you unconditionally so therefore, honestly you should show the same unconditional respect to each and every creature you come across in your life no matter who or what they may be.

And Honestly,  many of you need to think strongly about that for awhile because one of the most important people you need to be honest with is yourself.  And once you've come to terms with who you are, no matter who that may be, you may then need to ask for forgiveness and begin to use that forgiveness for the greater good and begin to show it to others.

If you are truly strong with who you are in Christ and believe you are a child of God you will not go around being a dishonest, deceptive, fraudulent person because a true child of God is truly unable to do so.
Because God makes no mistakes, and he wouldn't allow his children to act like that, in no certain fashion.

Hebrews 13:18

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience,
in all things willing to live honestly.

Matthew 7:12

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would
that men should do to you,
do ye even so to them:
for this is the law and the prophets.

Cast your cares

There are many times in our lives when we come to a path or road we are unsure we are able to cross,
The path is covered, rough tattered and the trees may be covered in moss.

You stand there unsure if you should continue on this path as ahead it doesn't look Godly,
But you really have a hard time trusting that bridge you're about to cross because it looks a bit wadley.

The further you get the harder the path and the tougher the road becomes, and you soon find yourself alone,
Do you turn around to where you think you'll be safe or do you continue to the unknown?

Many times we find ourselves in similar situations as we worry about things in our lives we're unsure of or we think God's dealing with us to make a change.
But during these hard times we need to do nothing but cast our cares upon Him and He'll take care of us in exchange.

He will lead us through any rough patches we may be going through or any paths we may find unbearable to divide,
He'll give you all the tools you need to get through to tough times, rough paths and cast your troubles aside.

1 Peter 5:7

   Casting all your care upon him;
for he careth for you.

Psalm 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the LORD,
 and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Eternity

There are times through out our lives when we must face the loss of a loved one,
Many times we don't understand or have the time to say our goodbyes which is never fun.
But there are those rare and wonderful times when we do get to spend those precious last moments with the ones we love,
And it's during those times we realize like the blooms that come each spring, while there only here for a short time it's something we're glad we were a part of.
Each moment spent with the one you love should be cherished as if it's your last,
Because it's not always we get to spend every minute right up till they've past.
While they've left this world for a better place that we can only imagine,
They are getting to sing and shout in that place like you've never known nor can fathom.
While we are not promised tomorrow on this earth,
We are definitely promised a better place once we've left it to go forth.
No more pain, suffering or worry we'll ever know here,
Because in God's hands we'll be for eternity there.

John 11:25-26

 25Jesus said unto her,
I am the resurrection, and the life:
he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live:

26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
 Believest thou this?

Can you see the weed for the flowers?

Many times we don't see the weeds among the flowers, because they've grown so beautiful among the field,
We love to look at the wondrous blooms they produce and yield.
But sometimes as in life we fail to see the one that's planted itself among the great ones,
And sometimes it's this one that tries to over come these others and take them down and make them weak,
But the others need to stand strong and not allow the weed to take over and leave it among the meek.
We can relate this to our every day lives, we've heard it many times when we've been told,
One bad apple spoils the whole bunch as once told by the wise men of old.
But we must live among these wondering seeds that have been planted in our fields of glory,
Because they are not the greatness we want for our lives nor our Godly story.
While these may only be weeds that sprout up from time to time we must just let them be and not allow them to grow,
Because we want to beauty of the rest of the group to flourish and flow.
For it's all the others working together that makes the view a glorious treat.
And not the one weed that tries to bring us down and tries to defeat.

Psalm 103:15

As for man, his days are as grass:
as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

Reward

Sometimes we ask ourselves whats the one thing we can do ourselves that will make a difference,
While everyone has their own demons and situations to deal one things we can always be sure of  is live always changes.

Many of us spend our days working a job which we may or may not like but if you really don't believe in that job or any situation for that matter you should leave it.
For how can you be committed to something and give it your all if you're not committed.

How many times have you been on a job where you've felt you're the only one working while others spend the day at play.
Well let me tell you from experience, we need to do what it is we're there to do and believe in it and not worry about what others do.

There is no way you can change others, the only one person in this whole world you can change in any situation is yourself.
If you find that these things bother you in anyway then maybe you should change how you feel about it and see how that works for a while.

It is not your responsibly to see that others are doing what they are doing their lives, they will one day be held accountable for that.
The problem is for most they only think they'll be accountable for their spiritual lives, and not what they do Monday-Saturday.

A few things also people don't realize is if you spend most of your day trying to get out of doing your work instead of just doing it.
You just might find it wouldn't take as long to just go ahead a do the job in the first place.

We need to do what it takes to work as a team, how many times have we heard or been told there is no "I" in team.
We need to give credit where credit is due.  Help those who need it and give till it hurts, and you will get you're reward many times over.

A bouquet with many flowers make a more beautiful bloom than one to which you have one or two missing.
While working together they compliment each other just right to give us the perfect blooms for us to view.

Psalm 31:23

O love the LORD, all ye his saints:
for the LORD preserveth the faithful,
and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Morning

In the morning there's a flower that comes out and blooms just for a while,
It greets us with it's beauty and greatness with only a smile.
Each morning it opens up to a special blossom,
Each one is unique, special and awesome.
When the evening sun begins to come it closes into a bud,
But again the next morning it'll be waiting for you with it's bright beautiful spud.
While the morning time is good for this special flower to bloom,
It's also a good time for you to spend with God alone in a room.
Wake up an extra hour early and spend it with the Lord enjoying his glorious word,
And like the Morning Glory each morning you too will be transferred.
For in just those few precious extra minutes you spend before the sun gets high above,
Can be the one thing it take to make the change you need to make everything worthy of.

Lamentations 3:23

They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.

The flight

Have you ever noticed how a flock of guess fly in a "V" formation in the sky?

They do this so each of the birds don't get tired while flying.
When the lead bird gets tired he falls back and allows one of the others to take control for a while so he can rest this allows for everyone to work together for the greater good and allows them to get where they are going faster and more efficient than if only one was flying alone.
We as people should take a page from their play book and work together for the greater good allowing the stronger, more knowledgeable ones take the lead until the others "get their wings" then when it's their turn let them fall back allowing the others to take their turn and the front leading the pack.
Why do some people find it so hard to work together, make things easier for the ones in the back of the pack lighten their load for a while?
Why do we often see the leader try to fly away and leave behind the others knowing this will only cause undue stress on him and his pack.
Why is it that instead of working as a team for the greater good most are just out to use you when they need you then toss you to the side when they don't?  This is not the way it should work for a great team to accomplish great things.
Next time you see a flock of birds flying over take a good look at how they fly watch how they take turns being up front and how when the front bird gets tired or burnt out they drop back and allow someone else to take over.
It's not a bad thing to allow someone to help you out from time to time or even take over for you when the time is right.
It's not a sign of weakness it just means you've done you're job and it's someone else's turn.
It sometimes takes a team to get where you're going.
Be in the team, don't do it alone when you have others out there willing to help pull the load.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.

JOY

There comes a time in our lives when we need to surround ourselves with the beautiful things in life,
We need to do away with all the things that causes us worry, stress and strife.
We must not allow others to take our joy away from us by allowing them to use us in ways that not according to God's plan,
We need to have more confidence in ourselves and not in man.
We need to have a positive attitude about our day even though others want to take away our bliss,
Don't allow others to take away from you the spirit God has put in you and you will never miss.

There are many times when the common man will just let you down over and over again and again,
But if you just trust and obey God's higher plan he'll always put you on the path for gain.
Trust and obey for it's the only way, how many times as a child have you heard those words,
We just now need to begin to believe them instead of just being heard.
Know them in you heart and trust in his every word.
These are the only ways we can survive during these trying times of our lives today,
For it's only with God's loving Grace every day will we be able to make it along our way.

Ephesians 4:22-24

 22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Thank you!

With all that is given to us by the glorious had of God how much do we really spend each day to say thank you?
How often do you thank those that do the little things for you that helps you out no matter how small though out your day, and never ask anything in return?
There are many people God puts in our paths each day just to see if you use them as a stepping stone or as a helping stone,
When you happen upon these types of people what do you do? Do you find yourself using them over and over as if they are a door mat there to wipe off your shoes or do you ever take the time to thank them or do you ever help them as they've helped you as to return the favor?
There are many people out there in the world today that will never do anything as long as others will do it for them,
They are not interested in the feelings of others nor what it does when they have to stop everything just to come to their rescue over and over again and again.
Everyone has the ability to what it takes to enjoy every day of their lives no matter their latitude,
We must first realize in our hearts that it is not things that makes us happy but the attitude.
While there are many days we face several selfish people who only think of themselves and what they can suck out of you,
Know there will always be those out there is  one your side no matter what and he'll never ask for anything in return.
He'll always be there without disappointment and never use you except for what he will do to make things better for you.
Know this for it is written and true.  God will never leave you during you're time of need no matter the battles you may be facing, or trials you may be going through.
All you have to do is ask for it in prayer and he'll answer, when everyone else fails you, even those you thought never would.
He'll always be there to say I'll help you today, I'll pick up the heavy load and carry you to the end today.
Just like a river that flows down stream that picks up fallen leaves he too will carry you to a new place, a better place maybe one where thank you isn't a forbidden language.

2 Chronicles 7:15

Now mine eyes shall be open,
and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

2 Timothy 3:1-4

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Trust

In the dictionary you may find as the definition for trust as a person on who or whom  on which one relies,
But that's hard to do when over and over again you've placed your trust in others only to find they've become enemies instead of allies.
When you get in a group of people you will always find those who are out for only one person and that's themselves,
But is that what God's word has in it's teaching's or blessings for ourselves.
I have a suspicious mind and skeptical heart when it comes to trusting anyone without first having tested that trust,
While I know this is is not an ideal way to do but after being one of those who's been on the end of the evil of distrust this is something I do as a must.
Even after testing the waters I do a lot of praying and soul searching before allowing anyone close to get in,
If this is something that you find offending or unsettling then it's the only way now know how to begin.
Once you've lost many things to the dishonesty, and disloyalty of the ungodly then you too will understand the only way to trust the outside world again is with Gods word and belief,
Because he's the only way to remove all the disbelief.

Psalm 7:1

1O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust:
save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

Layers

The rose is a unique treasure, it begins so small and tiny in it's little bud,
That you would never believe it would sprout out some beautiful large bloom from just that spud.
The many layers it can produce, each one different yet the same,
There are even some so red they look as if they've been set aflame.
While a rose has many layers as do many people each one distinct to their own,
With many of them never to be shown.
Your life also has many layers you have to go through in order to find the real bloom,
There are many times you're stuck in the middle with little breathing room.
But as the layers of life go on and open up it becomes easier to move and breathe,
And no one ever know you were once stuck in the middle underneath.
While the rose is a symbol of beauty and a timeless treasures,
And it's just another one of God's glamours pleasures.

Song of Solomon 2:1

I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

The Bridge

There are many types of bridges we may come across through out our lives.  While we may continue to cross many of them without problems, occasionally we may find ourselves with those bridges we find that once you're on them you wish you hadn't started to cross it.  Or you may find when you go to return you've burned a lot of the bridges you've already crossed.  But never worry there will always be another one up ahead.  Stronger, better and maybe even more suited to you that the ones you've already chosen.  So keep crossing those bridges as you come to them.
 For they will always help
you over the troubled waters that lie below.

Job 3:26

I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

Psalm 9:9

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Dogwood bloom

The bloom of the dogwood is a site to behold,
The pink or white blooms are a site untold.
After the blossoms blooms and winter's gone,
Nothing but spring is left to carry us on.
With the signs of the seasons changing so beautifully,
We look forward to nature's paintings to arrive so elegantly.
While the days get longer and the sun gets brighter,
We all begin to feel the the joyous grace with each day lighter.
Enjoy the pedals bloom for the short time they sprout,
And spend all your days without with praise and shout.

Psalm 56:4

In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
