So long "Shine"

During the course of your life you never know who you'll meet,
Some of the people are kind, friendly, or even sweet.

Let me tell you about one such little lady I like to call "Shine"
Who's wit and personality, like mine is as twisted as a pumpkin vine.
She has a laugh and smile that's so contagious,
And to think she's leaving us after a short time is just outrageous.
Hard as I try to talk her into staying she just won't listen to a word she's told,
But maybe one day she'll come back to us before she gets old.
All kidding aside I've enjoyed getting to know this funny chick,
Even though her behind needs a big swift kick.
I hope she has peace and luck where's she's headed,
'cause if it were me going there I'd feel better being beheaded.
Just so you know this is not a good-bye only a so long,
Because real soon you'll see I was right and you were wrong!
