Purple aglow

Purple stones floating in a puddle appear fancy and free

Glowing in the light as if in an oceans sea

The illusion encircles the water below

Oh what mystery dost the mind bestow 

Stack atop the amethyst bubbles

The souls passion and fire then doubles

With the lavender ripple of the lake effect

You'll just have to call this sensationally perfect

Esther 1:6

 Where were white, green, and blue, hangings,

 fastened with cords of fine linen and

 purple to silver rings and pillars of marble:

 the beds were of gold and silver,

upon a pavement of red, and blue,

 and white, and black, marble.

Small things...

Joyous wonders never end

When the simple beauty of the day begins

Twisted into a tiny bloom

Looking as if there isn't enough room

The pedals emerge gently and free

To one day a rose to be

Open and smelling ever so sweet

It's beauty is a joy to meet

It's simple but true

The small things make you happy, yes they do!

Psalm 32:11

 Be glad in the Lord, 

and rejoice, ye righteous: 

and shout for joy,

 all ye that are upright in heart.

Worry and care.

Soft as the pedals shows,

Pink as the color glows,

Intense as the beauty shines,

Lost as you memory finds,

Where can you go in a dream,

Anywhere you want to it seems,

Just loose yourself in a picture anywhere,

And erase all of your worry and care.

1 Peter 5:7

 Casting all your care upon him;

 for he careth for you.

Find the clear waters

The water's clear the bank is rocky and rough,

We may spend some of our days in places just as tough.

Although you things may feel like they are not going well,

Please stop and see the beauty where misery may dwell.

Find always the peace and calmness in the rivers edge,

Lay your trust in the Lord and he'll keep you from the ledge.

Nothing you can ever do will ever change what plans he has for you or your destiny,

For that has already be laid out in a plan set out for you especially.

God is in control, you are where you are for a reason, find that reason,

Keep moving forward embrace it, find it and your reward will come in due season.

Find the clarity in cool springs of the fountains of the hard times around you,

Then you will get all the blessing that are laid and are your due.

Psalm 1:3

 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,

 that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;

 his leaf also shall not wither;

 and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Weary

Have you ever felt like you have found the end of the road or path and there is no where else to go,

Do you feel as if you can't go another step forward into places you don't know.

Have you grown weary of the enemies the devil has placed in your path day to day,

We need to turn over our cares and worries to God, he will do what you can't do, and not lead us astray.

For he will light the weary path that has grown dark from the shadows of despair,

He will take away all your worries and destroy all your uneasy cares.

Fight for the glory and strength to which we've all have but some can not see,

For it's with that strength and courage to go on through the unknown that will get us where we need to be.

Never settle for where or what you know isn't what God has put into your heart,

Pray for his favor to come and do his ever loving part.

For it is his hand that will guide you through those weary tough times and cause a ease to come over you,

And you will get the peace and joy we know that is out there for us we just need to break through.

Psalm 69:1-4

1Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

² I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
³ I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
⁴ They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

Years....

Years may have past, the plow may be idle,

The barn is empty and the mule no longer needs a bridle.

The fields are empty the home place is bare,

Nothing but old pictures and memories are left of the old place there.

The rafters are tattered the fences need mended,

Did they really want to leave the place unattended.

Times were hard, some would call in misery,

But now it's all just a bump in our ever growing history.

While time are ever changing and always seem to find their way back,

We just need to stay the course, trust in the Lord and stay on track.

Isaiah 41:10

 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed;

 for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; 

yea,  I will help thee; yea,

 I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Beauty by touch

Ever come upon a cut away with water and wonder just how something so beautiful could be made,

The way the rocks just happen to be stacked and placed and just perfectly laid.

How the trees just compliment the shores of the rivers edges just so delicately,

The eyes do see every precious thing as they are placed here by the hand of God so presciently.

Giving us such a pallet of beauty the mind will never understand, nor shall the eyes never see,

But I guess that just the way it was truly intended for it to be.

A mystery for us to enjoy, to find on a walk, or a peaceful painting or work of art,

We will never understand what the intentions were from the start.

But what we have now is a beauty that can only be left by a blessed hand,

If this is the greatness he's left here to enjoy one can only imagine what's in store in Glory Land.

Job 28:9-10

⁹ He putteth forth his hand upon the rock;

 he overturneth the mountains by the roots.

¹⁰ He cutteth out rivers among the rocks;

 and his eye seeth every precious thing.

Enjoy your life

We should enjoy every day life, do it in anyway you can,

If its a walk down by the river's edge to view the mountains above the land.

Or if its to sit down and eat a meal with out worry,

We need to work toward the happier things in life and be in no hurry.

For to be a peace with life and ourselves we need to enjoy things we've worked for,

Take time for yourself, spend time with your family, look in your heart for the goodness to explore.

Take the long walks, relish in the beauty of nature that's been painted for you,

This how life was intended for us to live, and I know this to be true.

You will find no more peace and heart felt joy out of life than rejoicing,

Be glad in the love you have with others, give unto them freely and forgiving.

And you will always know that these are from the hands of God that has created them,

And above all never forget to give thanks always to Him. 

Ecclesiastes 2:24

There is nothing better for a man,

 than that he should eat and drink, 

and that he should make his soul 

enjoy good in his labour. 

This also I saw,

 that it was from the hand of God.

Where are your treasures?

Many times you see people with big houses, fancy cars and even the newest clothes,

But the ones that really have treasures are not the ones the material things to show or disclose.

They choose to lay up their treasures is heaven building up their rewards where no one or nothing can ever touch,

While many may think material things are the way to go, they are just things and aren't worth so much.

What good are the things you pile up here on earth, especially if you never use them or share,

When you can be laying out such beautiful rewards to one day reap on glories square.

You may have an empty field here on earth with nothing to show,

But one day when it counts you'll have the most magnificent mansion that'll surely glow.

So why build just treasures here on earth where they don't really matter to anyone man,

When you can have the best there is in glory land.  

Matthew 6:19-21

¹⁹ Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:


²⁰ But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:


²¹ For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Choices

If everything in life was just black or white it would make looking through the glass oh so clear,

Two choices yes or no, stop or go, up or down, are never as easy or as simple as they ever appear.

Choices are one of the great privileges of our lives, without them we'd not be free to be,

While we must always consider our choices wisely, use them to do good and seek peace and be free.

Purse the goodness you want, the peace you need in you life for your everyday walk,

Give thanks for the gift of you've been given in choices, when you have your talk.

Use your choices wisely as they are truly a gift and gifts can always be taken away,

 But when you use them with grace, dignity, and elegance and you'll never find yourself going astray.

May the peace you seek, find you at your time of need,

And may all your choices find goodness for others as well indeed.

Psalm 34:14

Depart from evil,

 and do good;

seek peace, 

and pursue it.

Can you see the forest?

How many times have you heard the phrase you can't see the forest for the trees?

While there are several meanings for this there is one that I believe for me that I've found that might help make some sense.  How many times have you been in a situation where something has gone wrong and the first instinct was to look for someone else to blame.   How many times have you been in a business and the person waiting on you offered up some kind of excuse as to why they couldn't help you fast enough, or when something when wrong they blamed someone else for the mistake or problem?  

 What if we could erase this type of attitude thinking.  

What if people instead of looking toward others to blame would just say "I'm sorry It's my fault" and i'll fix it.  Then you could begin to see the greatness in those people, or when in the forest you could begin to see the trees.  

"Stop blaming small things for the big things to which you cannot control."

When will people stop blaming their circumstances for their failures and making excuses for why they cannot do things and just do it.  Many times people spend to much time complaining, trying to get out of doing things to where if they would just pick up do the work, in the time it took getting out of it they would've had it done.  

How great a country would we have today if people would stop judging others, stop blaming others for their own mistakes, and begin doing. "JUST DO IT"  Begin taking responsibility for you own actions, live by the word, believe in what you know is right and stand by what you believe.  If you do all these things you will never fail to miss seeing the forest ever again.  You'll always see beyond all the trees too the mountain tops beyond, you will see what is ahead for you.  Then he will bless you double for all you do and give you everlasting joy.

Isaiah 61:7

⁷ For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion:

 therefore in their land they shall possess the double:

 everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Romans 2:1

Therefore thou art inexcusable, 

O man, whosoever thou art that judgest:

 for wherein thou judgest another,

 thou condemnest thyself;

 for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Hope unto the end

Have you ever gotten to a road in your life where you feel stuck,

You know for sure you don't want to go back to where you were and where you've landed just isn't the right place, and life feels like it's run a muck.

But when you look forward the road ahead looks broken or as if it just had dropped off the earth,

This is the time we must press on, have faith that there is a turn ahead that will give us such worth.

God never intends for any of us to stop, or be somewhere he never intends us to be,

Although the road may look rough and scary we need to trust that it will lead us to where we will feel free.

We need to feel the freedom that he has set aside for us to know and enjoy for our live,

Never settle for what we know in our hearts isn't right for us that makes us thrive.

He will lead you around the mountain safely, it may take several trips to make it to where you need to go,

But when you get there you will get the peace and joy that you've been waiting for you know.

Hope till the end he will give you, because if you're not at peace and you're not happy then it's not the end,

So never settle for what you know isn't where you don't belong, never pretend.

Know that the next trip around that mountain you just may find that peace and joy you need,

Then it'll be nothing but peace in the valley till the end indeed.

Hebrews 6:11

 And we desire that every one of you do shew

 the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

Be humble

When you struggling with a decision or a choice you know you need to make,

God's hands is the place to where you need to take, 

Then you must leave it there for him to exalt in due time,

Which is to say he'll glorify and honor it along the climb.

But you first should humble yourself and be not prideful, or be anyone you're not,

Because it is this practice of humility that will give you the self respect you want.

Trust that the decision you  need to make will come He will show you the way,

Although you may not get the answers you need today.

Lay your cares upon him he'll show you the justification,

And if it is that you must leave it to make it then find a new location.

He'll take you by the hand lead you, but always keep you're humility intact,

Never change who you are inside just to please others and that's a fact.

Get up brush yourself off, find a new home where you're accepted for you,

And then you'll one day find that great place where you know you're designed to fit into.

1 Peter 5:6-7

⁶ Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, 

that he may exalt you in due time:

⁷ Casting all your care upon him; 

for he careth for you.

Small favor

How many times have you passed by that old home ready to stumble and fall?

Have you ever wondered how anyone ever lives there at all?

How many times do you pass by the person next door to you on your street?

And you know they don't have any food on their table tonight to eat.

If you know someone who needs help and  you have the means to help them and don't then you are at fault,

What if that one person you passed by happened to be the last person it takes to open glories vault?

Remember as you go throughout your day money isn't the only thing we can give,

Time and favor are valuable assets we have and they are free and cost nothing to live.

Do a small favor for someone, spend time with an elderly person who's alone,

The time you spend today will be worth more to them than you're tomorrow's have ever known.

Small words of thank you are free and worth millions to that one person who may feel down today,

But just a small note left behind saying you've done a great job may be all it takes to make their day.

When you see someone struggling in your path today, lift them up with kindness and praise,

And God will send Glory your way when you need it in your time of haze.

Job 6:21-23

²¹ For now ye are nothing; ye see my casting down, and are afraid.
²² Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance?
²³ Or, Deliver me from the enemy's hand? or, Redeem me from the hand of the mighty?

Knotted, bent and battered

The wood is old, knotted and bent,

And from these boards a barn was built good intent.

The years of wear shows lovely on the side,

From the knot hole you can peek out if you decide to hide.

You may find this sitting in a great field filled with hay,

Of filled up wall to wall with horses in each bay.

This may only be an imagination going wild,

Or just the memories of when you were a child.

But either way the old wood, knotted, bent and battered,

Will forever be a memory and fondly scattered.

Proverbs 3:6

 In all thy ways acknowledge him,

 and he shall direct thy paths.

Inspiration from the light of the moon

In the night sky we get to see the moon shinning bright,

It finds its way each month brighter and brighter to light our path  and sometimes it's such a sight.

Glowing in the sky sometimes orange, silver and even pure white no matter the color it's a wonder to view,

There have been many songs written about the moon of blue.

But to see one glowing brightly at night I've not had the pleasure,

But just to sit back and enjoy any view and relax and meditate is a blessing and pleasure.

Have you ever wondered how man ever made it all the way there to take those miraculous steps?

No matter the why or the how, all we know is the moon and stars rule the night as a spider does their webs.

The mysteries we have the pleasure to enjoy day after day are not our to question,

But to just sit back enjoy and try using the night sky during one of you're prayer sessions.

You may find new inspiration from the light of the moon,

Then you can enjoy it again when it comes back again real soon.

Psalm 136:9

 The moon and stars to rule by night:

 for his mercy endureth for ever.

How often?

How often do you see a beautiful flower in bloom and thank the hand of God who made it?

How often do you just miss that car that pull out in front of you by inches and then thank God for running a little late a little bit?

How often do you find extra money in a wallet you didn't remember you had and thank God for slipping it in because you needed lunch?

How often do you find friends coming to you're rescue with food and gifts when you're sick, do you thank God for the lunch?

These are just some of the little things we should thank God often for.  It is by his hand and favor we are blessed with these little things,

He does these for no reason except out of love and without attached strings.

All we have to do is rejoice, pray and give thanks often, as it is written in His word,

Then do what you can to pay it forward and be a blessing to others just as you've been blessed by the unheard.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

¹⁶ Rejoice evermore.

¹⁷ Pray without ceasing.

¹⁸ In every thing give thanks: 

for this is the will of 

God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Family forgiveness.....

There's one thing I learned that family is one thing you must have to survive in the world today,

You must know no matter what the situation is you will at some point in your life need them one day.

The bible tells us we must forgive, this is not because it's the right thing to do its because it's God's thing to do,

There's no way to live in, walk in and believe in the word of God and not forgive those that are close to you.

Its just as important to life as the blood that flows through out your veins and the breaths you take,

With out these things how can you manage to do the things it takes to live in the word of God and what He makes.

Know that as the moon hangs in the sky at night and the sun shines in the day,

If you have no forgiveness in your heart especially for those closest to you such as family then how do you expect God to forgive you of any of you're trespasses you may have in you're way?

You only get one family in this life and once they are gone it may take years before you get to see them again.

The void left behind by a lost loved one can only be filled by family, They are the ones to help with that pain.

So please take what time you have left on this earth, spend time with them, forgive them of any trespasses no matter how big or small, bitter or sour,

Because we never promised tomorrow nor are do we know when Jesus will come back for us not even the hour.

So here's my prayer for all of you Decide you're going to forgive, Depend on his word to get you the strength to forgive, Obey God's word and forgive, then enjoy the new found enrichment you'll find in forgiveness.

   

Let God pay you for past injustices. Do not try to collect from the people who hurt you, because the people who hurt you can never repay pay you for the hurt. That's God's job to pay you for those  pains, not you're place hold grudges many times you don't even know why.

So do yourself a favor and forgive because it's what God wants, it's in his word, and without forgiveness you are ultimately disobeying his word, and that's what we all must live by.

Mark 11:22-26

²² And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.


²³ For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.


²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.


²⁵ And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.


²⁶ But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Can you be trusted

Sometimes we find ourselves in a place were we just have to turn tale and run,

We've found we've done all we can do to make things better but we find it's no longer any fun.

How many times have you been asked by someone to keep a secret and you've went behind and told?

The Bible tells us not to meddle with him that flatter with his lips, and personally it's getting old.

Are you one that can be trusted not to reveal what has been entrusted to you by another,

Or do you run and talk an see how fast you can betray your brother?

If someone has found it in their hearts to trust you with something then you should honor that trust,

There will come a time in your everyday life when you'll need someone and they'll be a must.

But if you've not kept your promise to them with your silence then how can you expect them to do the same,

And if you some how find that you had a lapse is memory and forgot then you're the one to blame.

We should just learn that if you find yourself alone with no one it just maybe it's because you can no longer be trusted,

You should remember these things always the next time a secret is revealed to you to be entrusted.

Proverbs 20:19

He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: 

therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.

Family....

The home place is empty the bridge is tattered,

The old oak tree is gone the porch is worn and battered.

Not much is left beyond the creek's edge where the kids once played,

Nothing but old memories and eerie sounds of distant haunts of the home can be made.

Cherish the days you have with loved ones and secure you're memories with abundance,

For it's these special treasures that will always nourish your soul, and every way enhance.

While things may come and go, family will always be in our hearts forever,

And they are they're stories and remembrances you can carry with you wherever.

Ephesians 3:14-17

 ¹⁴For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
 ¹⁵Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
 ¹⁶That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
 ¹⁷That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Lift me up

When you're feeling down and blue,

And a walk along the trail and a wild field of flowers won't do.

When you feel things are at their lowest and you just can't go on,

Know there is always someone there to you are able to call upon.

He'll be there waiting to lift you're head up when it is down,

He'll even give you that much deserved royal crown.

Just bow that head but this time with a prayer for glory,

 Believe that God will always give you a happy ending to any story.

Leave your cares and worries at the feet of  the Lord,

Then erase all that strife from your memory board.

He will give you the rest you need and comfort you desire,

All with just a little faith, leave it all for Him, then watch for you're joy to transpire.

Psalm 3:3

But thou, O LORD,

 art a shield for me; 

my glory, 

and the lifter up of mine head.

Blessings

Just as the flowers come and bloom gloriously, then go in the early spring,

You also see special people that touch your life in the special ways that is what God may bring.

They may be the lady next door who you see each morning that says hello,

It may be the child on the corner that cuts up and plays just to give you a show.

No matter who may cross your life today, remember they may be there for a blessing,

Don't just brush them off or pass by them without that glace for you may miss that special praising.

We never know who or what may be placed in our paths today for us to bless,

But know this you as a Child of God are always out there to honor his name and confess.

We must use the faith and promise he's given us to be that blessing for others in order to receive,

We must believe that he is there giving us what we need when we need it, though it may be hard to perceive.

The rewards you will reap because of this type of faith and help for others will be overflowing,

And your walk with God will continue to be blessed and like the flowers in the garden ever growing.

Hebrews 11:6

 But without faith it is impossible to please him:

 for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, 

and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
