There's often a smile where the face of pain should be
You'll rarely hear the complaints of how bad it really is on them
Many suffer in silence, not showing others their true agony
These people can be your brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters
Or they may be the stranger in front of you in the check out line
Everyday can be a struggle just to get from light to dark
But many times as the darkness falls sometimes the pain just begins
What can you do for those who hide the struggles so well
Take the extra time to understand, never feel pity
They are doing the best they can, they are not lazy
They only want one thing out of life
And that is to be normal again
Psalm 73:16
